Morning gorgeous

The following day Niamh wakes to Joe talking quietly to Matthew. Matthew gazes up ay Joe as he talks to him.
"Have you been keeping your mummy up all night?" Joe coos as Matthew grips his finger.

Niamh rolls around to face Joe, "morning cutie" Joe smiles.

Niamh smiles and stretches out and then sits up. Joe smiles at her, "hows Matty?" she yawns.

"He's alright just settled him" Joe smiles as he looks over his shoulder at Niamh.

"Oh I'm exhausted and I don't know why" she sighs.

Joe smiles at her "Matthew kept you up I guess" Joe says. Joe goes and puts Matthew in his moses basket and comes back to Niamh and plays with her hair as he knows she likes him doing that.

Niamh leans back a little "Mmm that's nice" she mumbles.

"Knew you liked it" Joe smiles.

She smiles as leans back against him, "I love you, you know that right?" she giggles.

"I love you too" he smiles.

Niamh smiles as Joe puts his legs on her bed and pulls her onto his lap "Oh you knew I was tired" she moans.

"I read you like a book Niamhy" he smiles as he strokes her hip and holds her close.

She buries her head into his shoulder, Joe kisses her shoulder and smiles. "So will you make up with Chloe today?" he asks.

"I'll think about it" Niamh says.

"Niamh!" Joe says in an unimpressed tone.

"What?" she groans tiredly.

"Go apologise to her and be the lovely big sister you are" Joe smiles as he kisses her cheek.

"Please...for me?" he begs, She nods and looks down at her lap.

"Well go on then" Joe prompts her. Niamh huffs as gets up off his lap and heads out the room.

She knocks on Chloe's door hoping she's awake. "Mmm what?" Chloe mumbles.

"I've erm...come to say sorry" Niamh says as she stands awkwardly in Chloe's room as Harry is still asleep and Chloe is half asleep also.

"Oh right" Chloe mumbles, She sits up a little in bed.

"I'm sorry" Niamh says.
Chloe looks over at Harry to see him out for the count, she pats her side of the bed gesturing Niamh to come over.

Niamh walks over and sits on the edge of the bed. "I'm really sorry too" she sighs, Niamh hugs Chloe and smiles a little. "I didn't have the right to go shouting" Chloe says.

Niamh laughs "oh shut up it's fine, your hormonal and so am I we're bound to clash" Niamh says.

"God Niamh don't talk to me about that" she moans. She laughs again and pulls away from the hug.

"No seriously don't" Chloe groans.

"What?" Niamh says a little confused.

"Being pregnant, the whole hormonal thing" Chloe says.

Niamh laughs "oh you'll love it, I did although I found it weird people randomly feeling my bump" she says as she remembers Ellie doing that to her. Chloe laughs at little.

Niamh gets up off the bed as she can hear Matthew crying. "I'll see you two later" Niamh smiles before going into Matthew.

"Oh dear what's the matter Matthew?" Niamh coos as she doesn't see Joe and gathers he's in the bathroom.
She lifts him out of the moses basket and gently rocks him, Matthew seems hysterical in the way he's crying but she doesn't know what's up.

"Oh baby what's wrong?" she says as she tries to settle him.

She smells his nappy and decided to change it, "shall mummy put some nice cool cream on your bottom?" Niamh says as she rocks him and the lies him down on the bed.

"Where did your daddy get to eh?" Niamh says as she takes his nappy off.
Matthew whines as Niamh cleans him up and he grabs her hair for the first time which is a surprise to her.

Matthew gurgles and kicks the air. Niamh smiles at him happily and lifts him up with only his nappy on as he is quite warm again. "If we lived here baby, mummy would have to leave you in your nappy all the time" Niamh coos.

Joe comes out of the bathroom, "have a nice shower?" Niamh smiles.

He nods and smiles at her "what we doing today?" He smiles.

"I don't mind" she smiles.

"Did you make up with Chlo?" he asks.

Niamh nods as she pulls her hair once again out of Matthew's grip. Matthew looks up at Joe and gazes at him while kicking his legs in the air. Joe smiles and watches Matthew "ahh see my son has inherited the McFadden family iron grip" Joe laughs.

Niamh laughs, "what shall we do today?" she asks.

Niamh laughs, "what shall we do today?" she asks.

Niamh looks up at Joe "I don't really know what do fancy doing?" He says.

"We could always take a walk to the beach with Harry and Chloe maybe?" she suggests.

Joe smiles "yeah that would be lovely" he says as he kisses her and his towel slips down his waist.

"Oh Joe that sunburn looks sore babe" Niamh giggles as he is rather red.

"Mmm yeah it tingles" he says.
Joe gets himself changed into a pair of shorts, he lifts Matthew up, "hello you" he smiles but Matthew starts to cry.
Joe watches as Niamh ties her hair up into a perfect bun, "perfect as always babe" Joe says over the top of Matthew crying. Niamh smiles, "hey what's wrong wee man?" he says.

"Here give him his dummy, dads got one of his migraines again" Niamh says.

Joe puts Matthew's dummy in his mouth and the three of them go downstairs. "Will you shut your child up?" Brian says as he rubs his head.

"Sorry Dad" Niamh says as she takes him to the kitchen where her mum is.
