Meanwhile... Joe is sat in the kitchen with a drink nervous about what he's about to ask.

"Can I ask you two a question please?" Joe pipes up.

"Yes of course you can what is it?" Barbara smiles as her and Brian turn around to face Joe. Joe plays with the bib of Matthews which has been left in the kitchen as he's rather nervous.

"What's up?" they say in unison, Joe looks up at them a little scared.

Joe takes a few deep breaths to gather his thoughts so he doesn't make a complete idiot of himself, Can...I-I-I ask you for your blessing for me to marry Niamh?" Joe says rather nervously.

His hands are clamy and he can feel the sweat lashing off him, He can't bare to look up at Brian and Barbara as he knows they are rather picky people.

He continues to play with Matthew's bib, he feels himself turning bright red.
There is a dead silences between them and then the whispering of Barbara and Brian. He risks it and looks up and them to see all smiles, he doesn't know what to think.

"Of course" Brian says, Joe can feel his heart rate going back to normal and he gives a sigh of relief, "Welcome to the family" Brian smiles at Joe and shakes his clammy hand.

Joe smiles happily, "so when are you planning on asking Niamhy?" Barbara asks.

"Tonight" Joe says.

"Ooh good luck" Barbara says.

"Thanks, I think I'll need it, I mean what if she says no?" Joe sighs.

"I'm sure she won't" Barbara says.

"She adores you too much" Brian smirks.

"On the phone all we hear is Joe Joe Joe, your a wee darling, don't be nervous" Barbara coos. Barbara hugs Joe and smiles.

"Thanks" Joe blushes.

"You'll just add to her happiness" Brian says, "always smiling ever since she was a wee nipper" Brian adds.

Joe smiles at the two happily, "you've taken some of my nerves off me" he laughs.

"What could possibly happen now? She's already well as truly madly in love with you" Barbara says.

Joe smiles, "thanks again" he smiles.

He gets up and goes through to Niamh who's changing Matthew's nappy. "Need a hand you two?" he laughs as Niamh and Chloe are changing his nappy.

"Nearly done" Niamh smiles as she is teaching Chloe to change a nappy.
"He only needs the cream sometimes if he's a little red, like now" Niamh says over Matthew crying.
"Right Matty calm yourself, mummy will sort it" Niamh says.
"Chlo watch he don't put his foot in the dirty nappy, he did that to Joe the night before we came over it was such a mess" Niamh says.

Chloe nods and keeps a close eye on Matthew. Joe sits down and watches them, Matthew starts to settle as he spies Joe. "Is that who your after little chap?" Niamh smiles as she lets Chloe put the clean nappy on.

Chloe looks at Joe and smiles. Niamh then lifts Matthew up and hands him to Joe. "Hello little fella" Joe says and Niamh smiles before heading off to the kitchen to get something to eat.

"I'm getting something to eat then I'm going to get ready" Niamh smiles to Joe.

Joe nods and smiles, He looks at Matthew who is awake and staring up at him, Matthew just looks at him which is good enough for Joe, "hopefully mummy and daddy will get somewhere today and you'll possibly have a married mummy by around the time your two" Joe whispers with a smile.
