|Song: Give Me Something By Alex & Sierra|

Twelve

"So how'd it go?" Genny asked, her voice slightly staticky through the speakers of my phone.

"It was actually really nice. He was the perfect gentleman." I said as I pulled on my favorite black holy jeans. "And thanks for picking me up, by the way." I added sarcastically.

Genny ignored my comment and fake gasped. "What? Wow, shocker." I laughed.

"Yeah well, when we were leaving we sort of uh, bumped into Miss Conner."

"WHAT?!" She screeched, sounding extra high-pitched. I rolled my eyes and applied another coat of mascara.

"Yep, and he acted totally weird. He pulled my closer and gave her this defiant "back off" look or something."

Genny snorted. "Boys. What did she do?"

I sighed, "Well here's where it gets really weird. She gave me this "I'm still mad at you for kissing me" face, then turned and glared for like, a solid 20 seconds at Caleb's arm with open disgust, around my waist before sauntering off and sitting down with some guy nearly twice her age." As much as I tried, the distain still crept into my voice.

Genny busted up into laughter. "Oh my god. That's great, she's totally jealous."

"She is not!" I protested, nearly jabbing myself in the eye.

"Yeah? And what did Caleb say about her behavior." I groaned inwardly, she was going to love this.

"He...he said that wasn't an "I hate you" look, that was an "I want to devour every part of your body while you scream my name" look." My face automatically flamed as I remembered the moment.

The phone line was dead silent for a moment before a cacophony of sporadic laughter sounded. "Oh shit, he's totally scoping out the competition."

I huffed and pulled on my new class sweatshirt over my sports bra. "Who wore shirts under sweatshirts anymore anyways?

"Maybe." I grudgingly replied.

"Yeah okay, whatever Ms. Horndog. You leaving soon?"

"Ms. Horndog?" I shook my head at her strange vocabulary. "And yea I am."

"It's a self explanatory term." She quipped. "Ok cool see you in a bit." She hung up.

Shaking my head at my crazy friend, I grabbed my jacket and headed out. Mom had an early surgery so she wasn't home, but she'd left me money on the counter for food. The air was noticeably colder but unfortunately I didn't have cup holders in my bike. I was in desperate need for a coffee. My phone chimed just as I sat down.

Genny: White Chocolate PM?

I grinned and quickly typed a reply back. She knew me so well.

Me: Yes! Thanks!

Stuffing my phone in my pocket, I snapped on my helmet and kicked up the kickstand, grinning at the satisfying purr  the engine delivered. Despite the biting chill of the morning, the drive to the school was pretty enjoyable. Traffic wasn't bad so I decided to take the long route and enjoy myself a little bit. Unfortunately my mind wasn't cooperating because it automatically drifted to a certain teacher of mine. I sighed in annoyance. Even when I wasn't trying  to think about her she still occupied my thoughts. I just couldn't stop thinking about how perfectly her lips fit against mine, or the way her cinnamon scent filled my nose. I knew it was probably just me, but I felt some serious chemistry going on there. I mean, she cant deny that she fully kissed me back. My lips unconsciously curved into a satisfied smirk as I remembered her reaction to my teasing.
