February 3rd...

There's a soft knocking on my door, pulling me out of my deep slumber. "Come in" I say, rubbing my eyes, as the door opens, light flooding inside. Jack walks in, holding a box. "Happy Birthday" He says, handing me the box. "Jack" I say, sitting up slowly, as he takes a seat on the bed beside me. "I thought I told you I didn't want anything this year" I say, and he rolls his eyes.

"I know, but this isn't from me.. Its from... Your mother. So I didn't break any rules... She did" He says, smiling to me. I roll my eyes, before taking the box from him. "Mom had this shipped here, perfectly wrapped and everything?" I ask, raising an eyebrow at him. "You think its wrapped good?" He asks, clearly shocked, then smacks his forehead.

"Yeah, that's what I thought" I say, smiling softly to him. "Okay, your mother called me and we figured out what to get you together. She told me and I bought it. She technically is the one that got the present though. It was her idea" He rambles on, and I shake my head, before pulling him into a one armed hug.

"Thanks" I say, and I feel him chuckle but hug me back. I pull back, and look from the present to him. "Well open it" He says, and I shake my head, before slowly opening the box.

"Jack! You guys really shouldn't have!" I say, looking down at the two plane tickets. "Its a round trip to see your mom in California" He says, and I shake my head. "You can use them whenever you like. They don't expire. But you might want to see her before graduation. I know she misses you" He says, and I look up to him, holding back my tears.

"Jack. This... This is to much" I say, looking back to the tickets again, then to him. "Just... Use them. She really does want to see you" He says, before patting my leg and standing up. "Now, hurry and get ready for school" He says, before he walks across my room, and out the door, closing it behind him.

This is insane. And there's two of them.

I shake my head, before placing the tickets in the drawer beside my bed. I run a hand through my hair, before quickly standing up, and making my way to my closet to get ready.

That day at school was so strange. Half the student body came up, telling me Happy Birthday. Most of which I only knew as "That one kid in my biology class". I finally made it to my locker, pulling it open, when I feel two petite arms wrap around my torso.

"Happy Birthday" Alice's melodic voice says, as I turn and give her a hug. "Thanks Alice" I say, smiling to her. "What do you and Jack have planned tonight for you birthday?" She asks, and I give her a soft shoulder shrug. "Well, Esme and I were thinking of having you a small party at the house. And we would really like for you and Jack both to come" She says, and I roll my eyes.

"Why so you guys can have him for dessert" I snidely say, causing Alice to gasp aloud. "Absolutely not. He's your father and we just wanted to-"..."I know Alice. I was kidding" I say, wrapping my arms around here again. "We'll be there" I say, before pulling away.

"Nice.... Outfit" I hear another voice say, and when I turn around, I'm surprised to see Rosalie standing beside Alice. "Ummm. Thanks" I say, looking down at my worn out jeans, and Toms. I also had ended up wearing a white tank top with a blue flannel over it. I run a hand through my hair, before looking back up to them.
