Edward's POV...

"Wait, so you're telling me that not only is Lily a vampire, but so are you?" Jack says, plopping down on the sofa as Alice brings him another cup of hot tea. He takes the mug from her, placing it on the table, as he stares up at Carlisle in disbelief. Carlisle shakes his head, smiling as Emmett and Jasper snicker over in the corner. Rosalie shoots them daggers, before looking back to Jack, sympathetically. The first time I've actually seen her feel that way over someone other than Bella.

I shake my head as more thoughts of Bella flow throughout my mind, before focusing on Jack.  If it wasn't for the wolf boys, it would of taken a lot of persuading Jack that his daughter was infact a vampire, but to persuade him that we were too... That's a different story. Jack takes a sip of his tea, before looking up to us, individually. "So, what do we do now?"

That question took us all by surprise. It wasn't that he was afraid that he was in a room full of other vampires, but he was afraid for his daughter. That showed a lot of courage from him. He stands up, running his fingers through his messy hair, as he looks around to all of us. "First things first, you need sleep" Carlisle says, placing a small hand on Jack's shoulder, gently pushing him down.

Jack thought on this, before nodding his head, and taking a seat on the sofa. "And then?" Jack asks, laying back on the sofa, looking up to Alice as she hands him a blanket. "Then we will give you the update on what to do tomorrow" I say, smiling down to him. Jack half smiles to me, before thanking Alice. Everyone slowly makes their way out the living room. I start to follow behind them, when Jack pulls my wrist, stopping me.

"Please help me find my daughter" He says, and I give him a soft nod. It was more of a beg and plea that came from his mouth before he let my wrist go, and fell quickly asleep. All of this was my fault. All because she wanted to be immortal like the rest of us. Because she wanted to keep her father protected. And because she wanted to spend forever with me. Just like Bella. But I'm not going to let her end up like Bella, hell  no.

Lily's POV

Volterra, Italy was different than I ever imagined it would be. Then again, I don't really know what I was expecting it to really look like. Maybe full of more sparkling vampires like myself? I don't really know. Then again, I do remember Alice saying that the Volturi moved to Italy because this town actually worships vampires.

Everywhere I look, I see red cloaks for miles. Seems like some big celebration is supposed to happen. I glance down at the map in my hands, as I continue North, heading towards the oncoming crowd. More people line the streets as parade floats make their way down the town. I quickly cross over, earning a few yells from the Italian officers, but I quickly make my way through the crowds and onto my destination. Volturi hideaway.

I pass along the rows of shops and homes, all made of brick and stone, as I walk along the cobbled streets. Few of the buildings hold red flags, that gently flow in the wind along with the soft breeze. My heels continue to smack softly against the pavement, before my feet stop all together. I glance up at the enormous water fountain. Along the ridges of the water fountain, very small designs are sketched into the stone, giving it so much detail.

Small vines, flowers, and a few faces are etched into the stone. I softly run my finger along the designs as one of the doors swings open, making a loud bang against the wall. I glance up, but duck quickly as Alec and Jane make their way out of the building, their cloaks flowing in the wind behind them. I sit completely on the ground, peering over the fountain wall at the two of them, as they stop close, their voices at a hushed whisper.
