I pull my truck up to Jacobs house, killing the engine almost immediately. The skies have gotten darker since my meeting with Edward, calling a storm. I glance down at my phone and press the "Text" icon. I type a quick message, telling Jacob to meet me outside, then I press send and wait.

I didn't have to wait long before Jacob comes jogging out of his house, dark tee shirt on and his hair in a mess on his head. By the looks of his appearance, I'd say he's just woken up. He gets closer and I step out of the truck, shutting the door behind me. Confusion takes over his features as he stops infront of me "Hey, are you okay? How'd it go with Edward?" He asks, clearly concerned.

I grin to him, holding back my tears as a small "Hey" escapes my lips. I bite down on my bottom lip as Jacob comes closer, pulling me into a hug. And that's when the sobs start. I clench on to his shirt, repeatedly saying that he was right about the whole thing, about how Edward was infact a vampire. No I wasn't upset that he was but I was upset that he kept it from me, saying that it was for my protection. But from what?

"And I just... I'm not mad at him... I just wish he didn't hide this from me" I say through continuous sobs. Jacob continues listening to me, rubbing my back soothingly. Eventually the sobbing stops, and my eyes stop watering. I wipe my nose on my jacket sleeve, and pull back, looking at Jacob.

"Feel better?" He asks, with a crooked grin. the corners of my mouth slowly turn up, causing a small smile to appear on my lips "A little" I say, looking away, biting the inside of my cheek. "It just doesn't make any sense" I say, mainly to myself.

I look to Jacob who is once again confused. "Why didn't he just tell me he was a vampire? Then we could of dodged all this and...." I let my voice trail off, not wanting to finish the sentence I just started. "Maybe... He wanted to... But he couldn't find the right time to tell you?" Jacob says more like a question. I look to him again, shaking my head "It doesn't matter. I haven't hid anything from him and he hid something like this from me".

"Lily, there's something I gotta tell you..." Jacob says, catching me off guard. I look up to him, and watch as he shifts under my stare "What is it?" I ask, softly. He let's out a breath and looks from his feet to me "You know how Edward is a vampire.." He starts, and I roll my eyes "Yeah...." I say, waiting for him to continue.

"Well he's not the only ones thats... Different" he says, locking gazes with me. I look from him to my feet, then back up to him, feeling my heart sink lower in my chest as the words leave my mouth "What are you saying Jacob?" He takes a steady breath before continuing "What I mean is.... Is that.... I'm a.... Well... A...." He pauses again and I swear my hearts going to explode with all the pressure being brought upon it.

He doesn't finish his sentence and he's now looking away from me. I grow more impatient but I calm my breathing before I speak "A what, Jacob? You can tell me" And with that, he says the most unthinkable words I think I've ever heard him say. Werewolf.

****************
A few more silent moments pass and I swear I'm going to crack under all the pressure I've endured today. I close my eyes for a brief moment before opening them again. Jacob continues looking at me, and I shake my head. This can't be happening to me.

"What you'll believe him when he says he's a vampire but you won't believe me when I tell you I'm a werewolf" he says more like an accusation rather than a question. I let out a small laugh before looking to him again "How am I suppose to act, Jacob?" I pause, running my fingers through my hair before continuing.

"All my life, all I've ever known is college, work, and school. But now, coming here, my world has been flipped completely upside down. I now know that there's other things out there that I thought were only in fairy tales and on Grimm, but now... They're true" I pause again to catch my breath.
