Dan doesn’t really feel like partying tonight.

He got hardly any sleep the previous night. He burnt his fingers in the morning when he was trying to straighten his curly bed hair. He almost fell down the stairs because apparently the cleaners had been there at some point in the last few days and polished the fucking floor, so it isn’t only shiny and pretty now but also a freaking death trap for Dan.

And on top of that all Dan also got a message from Chris, saying that he and PJ aren’t coming to Tom’s party, which leaves Dan completely alone. Well, there are of course other people at the party, too and Dan’s main interest is getting laid, anyway, but still. Going to parties is a lot more fun if he’s accompanied by either PJ or Chris, or preferably both of them. Besides, wasn’t he supposed to get Chris laid?
He has to deal with it now, however, because as much as Dan would prefer to stay at home and just play video games or be on the internet all day long, he’s also extremely horny.

Waking up with a raging boner isn’t exactly fun, in Dan’s opinion, and using his own hands to get off has never seemed really appealing to him. So there really isn’t any other choice for Dan, than to go to the party and fuck some girl. And if he gives her strong drinks, she’ll be intoxicated in no time at all and Dan can have his way with her (without having to fear after sex talks) and most likely be home before midnight.
A pretty good plan, Dan thinks.

However, there’s still something else Dan has to take into account: Phil might show up. And as unlikely as it may seem, it’s still a possibility, although a very small one.

Dan doesn’t really know what he’d do if the boy actually showed up. After all, considering that he has invited him along, it would be plain rude of Dan to just drop Phil and go fuck someone. That surely wouldn’t make a good impression, and that’s exactly what Dan needs. He has to impress Phil, arouse his interest.

So far, his attempts haven’t really showed any success, if Dan’s being honest. Or at least he hasn’t noticed anything; and he’s usually pretty good in telling if someone wants to fuck him or not.
Phil though- the boy is too innocent for his own good. Dan can never tell if his flirt-attempts are the reason for his flushed face, or if something else has made him blush. Because, for God’s sake, Phil walks around with a seemingly permanent red tint to his cheeks.

Dan sighs, cursing his mind for trailing off. He needs to think about the party now, or more specific, about what he’ll do if Phil comes.

Should he get him drunk and hope for the best? Dan highly doubts that Phil’s ever drunk as much as a drop of alcohol though.
Should he just drop him with some of his friends? Although that probably wouldn’t turn out any better either seeing as most of Dan’s friends are jocks and would probably laugh at Phil for being smart. PJ and Chris are kind of the only decent friends Dan has, if he’s being honest.
Should he tell him that the party is lame and he wants to leave (only to come back later and fuck someone, of course)?

Dan groans in frustration. His ideas have been pretty shitty so far, and it’s really beginning to stress him out.

Oh fuck it, he thinks, I might as well text him and ask if he plans on coming, before I go fucking mental.

Dan pulls his phone out and types out a quick message, making sure it sounds friendly and nice. Because being a dick certainly won’t get him anywhere, which is quite inconvenient, considering that it is what Dan’s best at.

Phil replies fairly quickly and when Dan reads the message he lets out a sigh of relief and immediately stops twirling his hair – something he tends to do when he’s nervous.

“nah, sorry. grandparents are over and mum wouldn’t let me go even if it was some kind of emergency. maybe another time. c:”

Dan’s not too sure if Phil’s made that up or if his grandparents are staying over for real, but either way he doesn’t really care as long as Phil doesn’t show up at the party.  Which might sound quite cruel and harsh but, quite frankly, Dan would rather hook up with someone and get rid of his boner tonight, than having to deal with an awkward, scared and stuttering Phil.
