This chapter might be a bit more PG-13 than the rest, just so you know... ;)

I opened my eyes as I felt the cold feeling of satin under my body. My hands grasped the soft fabric as I looked around. A deep sigh escaped my lips when I noticed Carlisle sitting at the right corner of our bed. He looked at me worriedly, the letter in his hands. I quickly sat up and scooted to his side just when Carlisle instinctively opened his arms and cuddled me close. For a moment I didn't focus on anything but his even breathing and the sound of the waves in the background, but there came a moment when Carlisle distanced himself a bit from me to look at me closer. I sat up straighter and already answered before he could ask.

"I didn't know he was here. I came home and Carlie told me of a stranger playing with her. When I saw the letter and read it, I simply had a feeling that Marcus was still here and I had to talk to him. It was stupid, I know..." I looked down to our joined hands and played with my engagement ring. It was stupid of me to just run off, but I just knew that Marcus wouldn't harm any of us. Carlisle sighed after a long moment and lifted my chin with his hand. His honey topaz eyes softened when they locked with mine and I relaxed as well.

"It wasn't stupid at all. I would have reacted just like you. I was only worried about you when Marcus disappeared. You looked like you would faint any moment and I wondered what has happened between you two that you reacted so strongly." He held the gaze as waited for an answer, curiosity not anger visible in his eyes.

"He meant to come to say goodbye, that's at least what I understood from his words. He wants to commit suicide and I tried to convince him that there is another way. That topic and then the shock from before with Carlie... Did I faint? The last thing I remember is seeing Marcus leave..." Carlisle nodded and with another long sigh lifted me up and sat me down on his lap so that he could embrace me closely. "I really didn't want to worry you again," I murmured sadly and kissed his shoulder.

"I'm fine. I just haven't expected to be confronted with it all again so soon. All the emotions surfaced again at that moment, but I am fine now. More than fine actually..." he murmured and he kissed along my neck until I met his lips with my own and kissed him deeply. The last of the tension disappeared when I lost myself in the kiss. The only thing I realized was the feeling of satin under my legs and arms again. Carlisle lay over me, holding himself up on his arms and continued kissing me before his mouth travelled down to my neck and collarbone.

I locked my arms around his neck, making him return to my lips, and let my hands run under his shirt along his back. He sighed against my lips and quickly got out of his shirt and already worked on my dress. His fingers worked on the ribbons of my dress on my back and I could literally feel his frustration building up when he couldn't get me out of it. Eventually he stopped kissing me and only focused on my dress. I couldn't help it and giggled. Carlisle looked to me at once and his eyes sparkled so dreamily and excitedly while his mouth formed into a helpless smile. I put my palms flush against his bare chest and wound my legs around his hip so that I could shift us to opposite positions. Carlisle got the idea and lifted me up and sat me down on top of him as soon as his back rested in the layers of blankets and pillows. I still couldn't help but smirk as I quickly worked on the ribbons and tossed my dress away. "Women's fashion," he smirked sheepishly. I giggled and leaned down to kiss him fully.

"You should lose some fashion items as well," I whispered directly into his ear and he shivered. So quickly that I hardly comprehended, he was sitting up, holding me in place with one hand around me, and got out of his trousers. His lips in the meantime kissed down my chest and I threw my head back at the sensation. His hands kneaded through my hair and surely left it in a messy state, but I cared less at that moment. I nearly growled as I pushed him back and trailed kisses down his muscled chest. Carlisle moaned and his hands quickly found their resting place on my waist. I moved my hips and he growled, his eyes opening and gazing at me with liquid black fire. It surely but quickly took another direction as the other side of Carlisle awoke. He lifted me up like a doll and then carried me as soon as he stood. I crossed my legs behind his back and pushed myself as close to him as possible. His lips crushed against mine and I lost all other sensations. I loved this side so much! Carlisle rarely lost his reservation. I only fervently hoped that someone was babysitting the two, so that Carlie couldn't walk in here seeing us...
