Time is one of the most powerful influences on our thoughts, feelings, and actions, yet we are usually totally unaware of the affect of time in our lives.

I woke up and checked my phone to see a few messages from Sarah and Hannah, I quickly replied then made my way to the bathroom. I brushed my teeth then took a long warm shower. After I was done I put on some yoga pants and a sweatshirt then combed through my hair.
I went downstairs and made myself some toast, Lucas was probably at work so I took my toast and went and sat on the couch and watched some pll whilst I ate.
Sometime later, I heard my phone ringing upstairs, so I ran up to answer it, It was Sarah.
"Hey Nancy bear." Sarah shouted.
"Hello sweet Sarah." I laughed.
"Hannah and I are going to the mall, want to come too?" She asked.
"I don't know, I think I'll just stay at home today." I muttered.
"We'll be there in ten minutes." Sarah said then hung up.
I love how much my friends care about me, they understand everything about me and always know how to make me feel better.
I ran up to change into an appropriate outfit to go out in. I put on some grey skinny jeans and a white shirt, then put on some makeup by which time my phone rang.
I answered the phone without looking at the called I.D and spoke "hey Sarah I'm coming out in a couple of minutes."
"It's not Sarah." Someone spoke in a deep husky voice
"Oh urm, Nathan?"
"Yes. Sorry I accidentally called you, I was supposed to call someone else."
"It's okay but how did you get my number?"
"Hannah gave it me on like the first day of meeting you."
Oh, that girl is always up to something, she's always trying to hook me up with guys.
"Erm okay, are you still annoyed? I'm really sorry, I never intended to allow Lucas to punch you yesterday." I muttered.
"It's cool but I think it's best for us to stay away from each other, or remain as only friends, your brother really doesn't like me."
I wasn't expecting anything more than being friends, but when he said that it did give me a strange feeling in the pit of my stomach.
I heard the door bell ring as I spoke "yes I agree. Well bye, I've got to go now."
"Hm okay bye."
I put on my jacket then ran down and opened the front door. "Hello girlies."
"Good afternoon love, may I ask why you took so long to open the door?" Hannah half yelled.
"Yeah, we thought you fell asleep or something." Sarah laughed.
"I'll tell you once we're in the car." I said as I stepped out and locked the door.
As we drove to the mall, I told them about the phone call and how Nathan accidentally called me.
"He's probably chatting bullshit, he obviously rang you because he wanted to hear your beautiful voice." Hannah said in a serious tone.
"Why would he want to hear me talk? I'm nobody." I said quietly.
"If you're nobody then why would he have tried to kissed you?" Sarah asked.
