After school was finally over, I made my way over to Lucas' car and waited for him. I leaned against the car and took out my phone to call him as I had been waiting for over ten minutes, he never takes that long to get out of school.
As I was about to call him, he came jogging towards me with a small smile on his face. "Sorry, you'll have to wait for an hour and a half unless you're able to get a lift home."
"What? Why?" I groaned.
"Well believe it or not, soccer practice is finally on again after nearly two months; coach is back." Lucas grinned.
"Oh that's good, I guess." I smiled. "Well I'll just walk home, it's not too cold today either."
"Oh okay, you could wait for a bit if you want."
"Nah I'll just walk." I grabbed my bag from the ground and put it over my shoulder. "Everything would be so much better if you allowed me to drive your car."
"I would, but we all know how much of a bad driver you are, so it's safer off that you stay away from the steering wheel for a while." He laughed sarcastically.
"Huh! whatever meany." I sulked.
"You know it's true. Anyway I've got practice to get to, see you later baby sis." Lucas ruffled up my hair then jogged away, leaving me to groan as I began walking out of the schools parking lot.
I walked for approximately three minutes, when a car pulled up next to me. Of course I was slightly creeped out at first until I realised that it was just Nathan, he rolled down the windows and smirked.
Wow, how typical of him.
"Good evening ma'am." Nathan shouted through the window.
"Hello... How are you, after your random disappearance around an hour ago?" I spoke slyly.
"Oh I'm amazing, I had great fun after disappearing. Hope you didn't miss me too much."
I narrowed my eyes at him as I shuffled around on the side walk. "Fun doing what?"
"Some things are better remained untold."
Not wanting to push the topic any further, I began walking again. Until Nathan drove his car along besides me, extremely slowly.
"What do want?" I snapped.
"Wow chill out. I was just going to ask if you need a lift." He told me.
"I can walk, thanks for asking though." I said then began walking again but stopped as he honked his car. I turned around to face him and caught him looking at my bottom. "Hey you perv, do you mind looking at me?"
"I would apologise but the view was too beautiful not to look at." He smirked. "Anyway, get in the car. We basically live in the same place so wouldn't it be extremely rude to leave you behind?"
"Strange boy." I muttered and he just stared at me. "Fine I'm coming!" I walked to the passengers side and plopped in.
"Hello again. How you doing?" Nathan asked as he began driving.
"I'm doing just fine." I mumbled.
For the next five minutes or so, we spoke about random stuff. I looked around and noticed that we were going in the completely wrong direction.
"Nathan?"
"Yes, Precious?"
"We're going the wrong way."
