Oh yes, the past can hurt us. But the way I see it, you can either run from it or learn from it.

"He kissed me and I kissed him back!" I shouted at Sarah through the phone.
"Okay, and?" Sarah spoke calmly.
"I don't know!" I sighed then spoke again "that's the problem, I don't know how I should react or what I should do."
"Listen Nancy bear, just stop overthinking it and chill out."
"Okay but what if he tries to kiss me again, what should I do? Should I kiss him back?"
"If he does, just do whatever feels right at the time." She told me. "Also why did you call me? I thought you usually go to Hannah when you have guy problems." She laughed. Probably because she was trying to calm me down.
"She wouldn't answer her phone, so you know and you happened to be one of my favourite human beings."
"Aw that's nice to know, anyway I'm going to bed now so goodnight."
"Sleep tight hun, goodnight."
After another few goodbyes, we hung up the call. I laid on my bed and stared at the plain white ceiling when Lucas walked in, I lifted my head to see what he wanted and he was stood in my doorway with a smirk on his face and his eyebrows raised.
"What?" I asked.
"Nothing." Lucas walked up to my bed and sat down next to me. He stroked my hair which felt like a head massage.
"That feels good, keep doing it." I smiled.
"So how was your date with Mason?"
"It was good, the usuals movie then dinner."
"Okay as long as you're not doing the naughty." He said seriously then burst out laughing.
"Weirdo."
"Shh, go to sleep now." He spoke as he gently stroked my hair.
"Okay sister." I giggled.
"Excuse me."

I woke up to see Lucas sat up and leaning against my bed, he was asleep and his mouth was half open. What a cutie, he probably fell asleep when he was trying to get me to sleep last night.
"Lucas, wake up." I nudged him but got no response so I grabbed my water bottle from my bed side table and poured half of the contents onto Lucas.
"What the hell!" Lucas shouted.
"You weren't getting up.
Lucas scrunched his face at me then got up. "Well now that I'm awake, I'll go get ready for school, you do so too, okay?"
"Hmm okay sis." I responded.
Lucas stuck his tongue out at me then walked out of my room. I got out of my bed and walked to the bathroom and did the usuals which consists of brushing my teeth then a quick shower.
After that, I got dressed in to some black skinny jeans with a plain white sweater and I put on some combat boots. I then put my long golden brown hair up into a messy ponytail.
I grabbed my bag then ran downstairs and waited for Lucas near the front door. Whilst I waited for him, I scrolled through Instagram and did what normal people do which was look at pictures of my friends and people from school then stalked hot celebrity's.
