🌹Cascade's pov🌹
I walked out of Aubey's doorway with a huge grin on my face. When I put my hand on my doorknob my phone vibrated in my back pocket, I had already changed out of my swimsuit. Instead I was wearing a galaxy print crop top with a pair of black ripped jeans and all black converse. Yes I liked wearing black. Is that a problem? "Ooh my butt buzzed!" I said excitedly while pulling my phone out of my pocket. My face lit up when I realized it was Logan. I've had a crush on him since he moved in down the street when I was three.
L- Hey, you've grown since I last saw you.
C- No dip, it's been seven years.
L- True, but now you're about to my lips, so you've grown. A lot.
C- Shut up.
L- That's a rude comment to say to someone you like, you do like me right?
C- No, well maybe.
C- Okay, yes
L- Great so you have no reason to turn me down now that I'm asking you out
I pulled a pillow to my face and screamed at the top of my lungs. The pillow only covered 50% of the noise so my scream shook the hole neighborhood.
C- I guess so.😉
I turned off my phone and shoved it back into my pocket. I looked in the mirror and noticed my face was flustered and I couldn't wipe off my smile. Callie and Aubrey came rushing in my room. "What is it, Logan?" My smile widened as I nodded my head.
"Wait how did you know?" I asked in confusion.
"Cas," Aubrey said "we came from the same wound at the same time. Don't you think we would be able to tell the difference between your 'boy scream' and your 'something's wrong' scream?" I shrugged my shoulders and laughed. This was the best day ever and I got to spend it with my two best friends, who were also my sisters.
We group hugged and sat down on my bed. Smiles erupted from our faces.
"Ooh my butt buzzed again." I looked at my phone and saw it was Logan.
L- So now that I officially, asked you out, and you said yes, our date is today at the beach meet me here ASAP.
C-Okay let me get changed. I'll meet you there in five.
I turned around and saw Aubrey and Callie reading my text messages. "No fair, turn back around. I'm a slow reader!" Aubrey shouted. I pushed past her rolling my eyes. I grabbed a pink bikini top and blue bottoms. I put on my flip flops and grabbed my phone. I walked out of the door and rushed to the beach. I saw Logan, Rascal, and Hayden splashing in the water. I smile a bit and Logan turned around and greeted me with a hug. I have to admit, it felt amazing.
"Do you want to go get a smoothie at the caffe?" I nodded my head and he slid his hand in mine. We walked slowly to the caffe enjoying each other's company. We made it to the caffe and we sat in a booth across from each other. I set my hands on the table like I normally do and he set his on top of mine. I smiled and then a waitress interrupted me gazing at Logan's eyes.
"Hello I'm Evie I will be your waitress today. What would you like?"
"I would like the strawberry bliss, and she would like the cocoo coaco smoothie."
The waitress wrote our orders down and walked away. "You remembered my favorite smoothie!" I said to Logan smiling.
"How could I forget? I used to get it for you all the time." I smiled even more, though I didn't know it was possible. He rubbed his thumb across my knuckles and gave a cute crooked grin. The waitress came out with our drinks and we sipped them down slowly savoring every moment we had together.
We began to walk to the beach hand in hand but Callie came to bring me back home I hugged Logan and he kissed my forehead. Callie grabbed my hand and dragged me back to Sabrina's house. I turned my head and saw Logan standing a few feet away smiling.
