To the Beach

Chapter 50

🌹Cascade's pov🌹

I woke up on Connor's lap and quickly got up. I like him a lot but he's not my boyfriend. "Cascade are you okay?"

"Yeah, yeah I'm fine." I sat down next to him where I was before. I pulled out my phone and it read August 13th. "Wait did you stay here the whole night?"

"Yeah you fell asleep but I couldn't wake you up." I felt my cheeks getting red and then he brushed a peice of my hair behind my ear. I felt my breath shorten. He leaned in closer to me but then Aubrey ran down the stairs and started screaming 'kiss' a thousand times. Connor pulled away and I shot a glare at Aubrey filled with the deepest darkest part of my soul. "I should leave."

"Oh okay." My heart sunk and I walked him to the door. He walked out but then stopped and turned. He walked to me and kissed my cheek.

"Maybe next time it can be more than that. I blushed even more. "Cas will you be my girlfriend."

"Yes!" I said and he lifted me up by my waist.

"I hoped you were going to say that."

Aubrey came to me side then said. "Rule number one, if you mention Percy Jackson you had it coming  for you. Rule number two she gets clingy. Rule number three, no nasty stuff okay?" He laughed and I felt my whole face turn red. "This is not a request this is an order."

"Okay I will comply." She looked at him with a confused face and then he said. "I will follow your orders."

"Yes you will." She said and she skipped away. Connor grabbed my hand and I followed him with my little legs. I looked back at the house and saw Aubrey talking to a guy on the beach but I thought nothing of it. I looked at the rock and saw Grey kiss Callie. I felt like throwing up.  Connor saw Grey and Callie making out. He picked me up bridal style and ran into the water. We still had our normal clothes but we still splashed around. A wave came and I dove in.

We got on the rock to dry off and I leaned my head on his shoulder. The sun began to set and he cupped my face in his hands. Everything was perfect. He was already going to the high school that I would be going to. He's a year older so I'll be starting freshman year and he'll be in his sophomore year.

The sun began to set and it was lighting up his face. He leaned in and kissed me. Time seemed to stand still. I started falling asleep in his arms again. I can't believe that the summer is over.

"Cascade wake up!" My teacher screamed in the class. I was in math class and could barely keep my eyes open enough to answer a question. I looked at the window door and saw Callie dancing outside it. I shook my head and tried to hide the smile that was appearing on my face. The summer was over and high school was the underworld of schools. I rose my hand.

"May I use the restroom. I'll be back, I'm just going to wash my face to wake up."

"Go fast and go now." I walked out the door and greeted Callie. We ran to Aubrey's science class the we ran out of school to our seaside escape.
