🌹Cascade's pov🌹
I somehow managed to get up and move around. I traveled downstairs and collapsed face first on the couch. I was still wearing the same clothes from last night and the sleeve of my crop top was still damp with Callie's tears. I knew that Callie checked on me this morning, I didn't say anything. I knew that she left, I don't know why though. I don't really know when I fell asleep or when I woke up, the days were blurred together and o didn't have the heart to check my phone. I knew Logan didn't text me. I trudged up the stairs and took of my slightly dampened shirt. I put on a black bikini, the color of my soul. I brushed my hair and walked out the door without putting on any shoes or a coverup.
I stopped when my feet met the wet sand and my salty tears met the salty water. Logan was five feet in front of me and didn't even notice I was there. He turned around and locked his gaze on my eyes. He took a few steps towards me and all my joints felt like jelly. He continued to work his was toward me inch by inch until I could feel his warm breath against my skin. Without saying anything he wrapped me in his arms, that's when he began talking. "Cascade I'm so sorry, I'm so stupid." I began crying he kept apologizing. "I'm so sorry I love you and only you, I kissed Callie because I was jealous. You were spending all your time with her because of what happened with Hayden, I figured if I kissed her you would spend less time with her. It worked but there was still a flaw with that plan," he continued to hold me in his warm arms. "I lost you." This time we were both crying but then we stopped. He held me in his arms and my world felt complete. He was what made me happy, and now I had my happiness.
He lifted me off of my feet and I wrapped my arm around his shoulders. He walked further into the ocean until my fingertips glided across the surface. I smiled and splashed him in the face then giggled. "You want to play like that?" He said while smiling. I shook my head and laughed. "Okay." Then he dropped me into the deep California waters. I planted my feet firmly on the sand and stood up. My wet hair stuck to my face and Logan put it behind my ear. Then he kissed me. His warm lips were pressed against mine. It was the best feeling in the world, and I missed that feeling more than anything. It was true I needed him, but what I didn't know was true was that he needed me.
We walked on the wet sand hand in hand, we didn't speak, we just enjoyed each other's much needed company. I rested my head against his shoulder and closed my eyes. I took a deep breath of the fresh air and enjoyed every minute of it. He rubbed his thumb across the back of my hand and kissed my cheek. "I love you Cascade, more than anything."
"I don't just love you I need you." He looked in my eyes then at my lips while half biting his. I got on my tip toes and pressed my lips to his. I placed my hands on his cheeks and he wrapped his arms around my lower back.
"I need you." He whispered in my ear. I got down on one knee and pulled out a infinity ring lined with diamonds. "Though we are to young to get married, and I don't have enough money to buy a ring, I can promise you that when the time comes I want to see you walking down the isle, and I want to hear you say I do, but most of all I want you to be the next Mrs. Reef, and I only want you." I kissed him and smiled.
"Yes as long as your going to be on the other side of the isle waiting for me."
"Believe me I will." He pulled me toward him and kissed me again. He was my everything and now he was mine and I was his, our hearts held in each other's hands, trusting that one of us won't screw up and break it. I had no intention to break his, and I hope he didn't have any intention breaking mine. He placed the ring on my left hand, it almost felt natural, like I had worn it my whole life, and it fit perfectly. Just like like his hand fit in mine, perfectly.
