I rubbed my hand through Cascade's long blonde hair and thought to myself 'this is everything I need in my life. Not everybody gets to meet the love of their life's at a young age, I met mine at age three and fell deeper for her every time I saw her. Her smile was beautiful and slightly toothy. She wore glasses that framed her perfect face and her name reminded me of my favorite place to go. The beach. I asked her to marry me when we're legally old enough, she said yes. I one point in time I messed up and hurt her. I was stupid. I wouldn't do that ever again even if it costed me my life. I need her like the Earth needs the sun. I need her like Percy needs Annabeth. I want her like the ocean wants to touch the sand. I want her like a fat kid wants a cupcake. I want her. And her name is Cascade.'

I kissed her lips and we sat in silence. It wasn't an awkward silence. It wasn't a forced silence. Anyone one of us could have spoken at anytime, and yet we didn't. We looked into each other's eyes and enjoyed it, all of it. Last night I slept with her in my arms. Nothing more than that, but it was all I wanted. She was mine and I was hers.

"Let's go get some breakfast." She suggests and I accept. We travel down the hotel hallways hand in hand, without speaking. We tended to do that a lot, but I never cared. When we got to the first floor we scavenged the unlimited buffet and stuffed our faces like pigs.

We checked out of the hotel and walked around the park one last time before calling a taxi to go home. "This time I will pay for the ride, you already bought too much."

"No, I got it."

"Let me pay, I promise it won't ruin your reputation."

"I'm not worried about my reputation, I just don't want to make you spend a lot of money."

"I don't want you to spend too much money either. That's why I said that in the first place!" She looked down at her hand and I took me a second to realize that she was playing with the ring I gave her as a promise. It fit her perfectly. Just as perfect as she was for me. The best kind of perfect. I put my hand under her chin and pushed her head up to face mine. She got on her tip toes and kissed me. "Let me pay."

"Fine if that would make you feel all the happier." She smiled in return just as the cab pulled up.

We piled in and saw the same driver that took us to Disney.

"It's you again? Are you going were I picked you up?" He asked sounding strangely annoyed.

"Yes sir."

"Okay." I swear I heard him say stupid under his breath.

We arrived at my house and we piled out after Cascade paid for the cab. We walked to her place and I dropped her off with a kiss. I watched her walk into her old faded beach house and then turned to walk back to mine. I opened the front door and fed my dog then walked to my room and through myself on my bed. I folded myself in the covers and closed my heavy eyes. Before I knew it I fell asleep, but it wasn't the best sleep. The best sleep was yesterday with the love of my life secured in my arms.
