To the Beach

Chapter 42

🌺Callie's P.O.V🌺
I woke up to the sound of yelling coming from downstairs. So I went into the bathroom and put my hair up into a messy bun then put on a pair of black leggings and my red soccer jersey, and I put on my black high top vans that had a red stripe around it. As I walked downstairs I heard the yelling getting louder and louder but when I was about to get down I felt my side buzz. So I pulled out my phone and saw I had a text from Grey saying
G~Hey meet me at school.
C~Ok... Why are we going to school when it's summer time?
G~I don't know... Just come on! There might be a surprise for you.
C~Grey... You don't have to... And by the way I hate surprises...
G~You really think I don't know that... I've known you since we where two... I got you with the I hate surprises.
As I was about to reply to Grey's text I heard Cascade scream 'For the first time since Logan, I actually went out and made a friend I went to the beach and didn't read. I made a friend I could relate to and you had to call my and ruin it.'
I looked downstairs and saw Cascade look up at me. I waited for Aubrey to finish her sentence and I asked "What's going on?" She looked at Aubrey and said "I met somebody for the first time after Logan and then Aubrey had to call me and ruin it because she was 'worried' about me." She put air quotes around the word worried. She's such a drama queen.

"So?" I said then Cascade said.

"So I got mad and blew up at her, if she was really worried about me she wouldn't have left us for two months because of some stupid guy." She turned towards Aubrey. "You don't worry about me, you don't care about me, you don't care about us," tears started streaming down her face and I could tell she tried to blink them back. "Where were you when we needed you huh? You were at dance camp because you don't care or worry about us, your selfish and rude you hurt everyone that cares about you and your too afraid to face your problems. I'm done with you." I felt tears in my eyes because I knew that was true. As I was about to say something I saw Cascade fun out the back door and I called after her "Cascade wait!" But she did stop so I ran after her.
As I got out the backdoor and saw that I couldn't see where she went I heard Aubrey mumble "I'm not selfish..." I turned around and said "You are selfish you left us cause of some boy... We had the same thing happen to us and we didn't leave each other... You weren't there when I was in the hospital because Rascal's mom knocked my out and broke my arm in 12 different places. You were where? Oh yeah dance camp." Without her finishing I ran off the porch and down the beach to the only place I could think of and the only person I wanted to see. School.
When I got to school I ran up the stairs and into the library where I saw little soccer balls all over the place. So I followed them threw the isles and backwards and forwards and finally I stopped when I saw Grey on the soccer field. I started running toward him but everything went dark and I felt a Big Bang in my head, and all I remember was hearing Grey yell "Callie!" Then everything was dark and quiet.
