🌹Cascade's pov🌹
I sat up in bed waiting for the sound of Callie to get home. I looked at my phone, the dark blank screen turned on and lit up the room. "Ooh my bed buzzed." I whispered to myself. For the first time in a month Aubrey texted me.
A-Hey I heard about Logan and Cas. I'm so sorry I can't be there to support you. I freaked out in a bad situation and made a wrong choice. Now I'm suffering the consequence.
C-I'm better now and Callie out watching the waves, it hasn't been the same without you, honestly I want school to start just so I can see you again.
A-I got to go the instructor is calling me. I sent you and Callie a package, I hope you like it.
C-oh okay, bye.
I put my phone back down and beard the door open and close. I heard quite footsteps up the staircase then the footsteps became snores and I knew Callie was home. I leaned back and closed my eyes then I was the one snoring.
I woke up and traveled down the lonely stairs to the front door with a box waiting at it. It had a note on it so I unfolded it and began reading it. 'I know I haven't been around but believe me I never changed. I made these for you two. I hope you like them. Love, Bre.' I took the package and the letter and brought it up to Callie's room and knocked on the door. Callie opened it and her hair looked like a lions mane. "Aubrey shipped us a package." I walked into her room and we sat down on her animal filled bed. We opened it and there were two big bags and two smaller bags. I grabbed the two bags with my name on it and pulled them out of the box. I opened the bigger one and pulled out a purple and gold flower crown, Callie got a blue and mint green one. I opened up the smaller bag and wrapped my fingers around a beaded necklace identical to the one Annabeth wears in the books. I smiled and put it around my neck. Callie got a shark tooth necklace with a blue cord to hold it she managed to slip it over her lion mane and wore it around her neck.
Tears managed to slip through my eyes. "Callie I want Bre back." Callie pulled me closer to me and held me in her arm.
"I know I do to." She let me go then said. "Go brush your hair and get ready, we're going to the beach!"
"First of all I need to brush my hair, look at yourself. Second you can't going in the water."
"Rude, and I'm not going in the water, I'm teaching you how to really surf."
"Noooo."
"Do you have a better plan?" I heard the someone knocking on the front door and I jumped off the bed.
"Yes I do." I ran down stairs and opened the door. Standing behind it was a girl slightly taller then me with hair slightly darker than mine and a bevy blue flower crown that I bought for her a few months ago. "Aubrey?"
