🌹Cascade's pov🌹
I began to set up my new room putting my most prized books on shelfs. I moved into my younger brothers old room and I had to admit the whole place smelled like an old fart. I found a beach scented candle and lit it hoping to get rid of the horrible smell. I set the candle on a small wodden table next to my empty bed frame. I began to push my mattress on the frame. All I could think of is how out of shape I was and how heavy the mattress was. I finally got the mattress in the perfect place so I could start decorating even more. I had a giant picture of my whole family before my parents passed away that needed to be hung up first. So I settled on putting it above my bed.
I lined the rest of the book shelf that lined the wall with the two boxes of books and pictures. I was about to through away the box when I saw a picture of me and Logan on our first date on the bottom. I smiled as I put it in a heart shaped frame. Callie took the picture when Logan was holding me in his arms and kissed my forehead. She printed it out for me the same day right before we moved out. I stuck the picture next to the candle on the night stand. I made my bed with a big blue blanket and some pink pillows. I set down a small same color pink rug I front of the bed. I took a deep breath of candle fragranced air and fell backwards on my bed.
"Ooh my butt buzzed!" I said while taking out my phone.
L- I really enjoyed our date, can we do it again sometime?
C- Yes!
L- Great, should I pick you up at your house?
C- Sure I moved back into my old house, pick me up there?
L- Will do
I put on a custom made bikini that my sisters got me for our birthday. It was a orange camp halfblood top with a purple camp Jupiter bottom. I put on a pair of flip flops and ran down the stairs when I heard a knock on the door. I opened the door and Logan almost tackled me in a hug. "Hey Cascade." I smiled and grabbed his hand
"Bre, Cal, I'm going out! I'll be back in a little bit!" We walked out and I closed the door behind us. We got to the beach watching the sunset ahead of us. He put his arm across my shoulders and I leaned in closer. We decided to go in the water and splash around. The water seemed clearer than I remembered it being. But I guess when your constantly reading and don't go in the water you don't remember the water. When it got to dark to see three feet in front of us we decided to walk back to my house. His shaggy hair was stuck to the sides of his face. I found it quite adorable.
When we got the the long driveway he leaned in and kissed me. I've waited for this moment for as long as I can remember. I walked in my house and said goodbye. I took my flip flops off in the living room and stood trying to understand the sport game going on the tv in front of Callie. Aubrey whispered to me "It's soccer." I nodded my head. I was walking back upstairs and looked down to Callie.
"GOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLL!!!!" Callie screamed and I jumped almost falling down the stairs. I regained my balance and climbed the stairs into my small room and changed into a pair of gym shorts and a blue tshirt. I grabbed a book and laid across my bed reading, with a smile and a memory.
