Chapter 8

18th May

Michael POV.

Not having Charlotte around for about a week was horrible. I wanted her back in my arms so much. But I knew she was having a good time with Rhianne and the others. I couldn't wait to see her again.

The shows in Brisbane had been amazing and so good. But now it was time to head to the airport and pick Charlotte up. Charlotte, Rhianne, Connor, James, Brad and Tristan were all flying into Brisbane because that's where their next show was and it just made sense.

I was stood at the arrivals gate waiting for them all.

"Charlotte." I shouted seeing Charlotte come through the gate pushing her luggage trolley.

"Hey babe." She said throwing her arms around me

"It's good to have you back." I said kissing her

"It's good to be back." She said

"Hey guys." I said smiling at the others.

"Hey." They all said

"How was the flight?" I asked Charlotte pushing her trolley.

"Yeah not bad, James's shoulder is really comfy." Charlotte said

"Guess you fell asleep." I said smiling

"Yeah. Jet lag is horrible." She said

"Yeah. It's nasty." I said

We didn't have a show until tomorrow and we were staying in Brisbane the night then flying out first thing in the morning.

"Night guys." Rhi said when we got to the hotel it was pretty late.

"Night Rhi. Probably won't see you in the morning. So have a good time." Charlotte said giving Rhi a hug

"Thanks Hun see you in Beijing." Rhi said

"Yeah." Charlotte smiled

"Night Rhianne." I said giving Rhi a hug

"Night." She said

"Coming babe?" Connor said poking his head round their bedroom door.

"Yeah. Night." Rhianne said before heading to her room

I went in and Charlotte was getting her Pjs on

"It's good to have you back babe." I said wrapping my arms around Charlotte.

"It's good to be back." Charlotte said

"Time for bed?" I said

"Yes please." She said and we climbed into bed and fell asleep straight away.

Next morning we were up at half 6 for the plane at half 7.

"How can I be this tired. I slept so well last night." Charlotte said as we headed for the airport

"I feel a bit like that this morning." I said

"Sleeping on the plane I think." Charlotte said

"Yeah same." I said

We landed in Sydney at just gone half 11

"It's so pretty here." Charlotte said

"Yeah. It's home." I said

"Yeah it is." Ash said

"Hey Michael what time we going over to you parents on Friday?" Luke said

"I said we'd go over about 11 depending on how we all felt after the show on Thursday." I said

"Cool." Luke said

"Yeah." I smiled

"What happens if your parents don't like me?" Charlotte said

"They'll love you babe." I said

"What if they don't?" Charlotte said

"Then we'll work round it." I said

"Okay." Charlotte said

"Don't worry Charlotte, Michaels parents are lovely." Calum said

"I'm sure they are." Charlotte said

"Don't worry Charlotte just be yourself." I said putting my arm around her.

"Quiet and reserved?" Charlotte said

"My mother is not that scary not as scary as Connors mum." I said

"From what I've heard she's pretty scary." Charlotte said

"Don't worry." I said kissing her

"Okay." Charlotte said

The shows in Sydney were incredible and it was great to see Charlotte back at work.

"Babe come on its going to be fine." I said to Charlotte. We were in between the Sydney and Perth shows and we were going over to see my parents.

"I'm worried." Charlotte said

"You look lovely sweetie. Don't worry." I said kissing her.

"Okay. Come on let's go." Charlotte said

The boys were waiting down stairs for us in the reception for us.

"Let's go." Luke said

"Hey mum." I said when we arrived at my parents.

"Hey sweetie." Mum said

"Hey Mel." Luke said

"Hey Luke, hey boys." Mum said waving at the other boys

"Mum this is Charlotte." I said taking hold of Charlotte's hand she hadn't said anything since we'd arrived.

"Hello." Mum said holding her hand out for Charlotte to shake

"Hey, lovely to meet you." Charlotte said smiling

"You as well. Michael has told us so much about you." Mum said

"All good I hope." Charlotte said smiling

"Yeah. You seem to have made a real impact on Michael." Mum said

"Thanks I guess." Charlotte said looking at me

"Yeah. It's nice to see Michael so happy." Mum said

"Mum." I said glaring at her

"Sorry love." Mum said

I went scarlet.

"Come on Charlotte I think my dad is in the garden." I said holding Charlotte's hand and pulling her out side.

"Sorry about that." I said

"It's okay don't worry." Charlotte said

"She lovely Michael. Really." She said kissing me

"I told you." I said smiling

"Yeah you did." She said
