Chapter 14

November came and I'd been feeling awful over the last couple of weeks so I decided to go to the doctors.

"Hey doc. What's the news?" I asked

"Um.... Your pregnant." He said

I nearly fell off my chair.

"Are you serious?" I said

"Yep. Your about 6 weeks." He said

"But I have the implant." I said

"Well it must be out of date." The doctor said

"Okay." I said

"If your going to keep baby you need to have it removed as soon as possible." The doctor said

"Okay. I need to tell my husband first." I said

"Okay. But contact me as soon as possible." The doctor said

"Okay. Thanks you." I said, I gathered my phone and things and left the office.

I went and sat in the car. I didn't know what to think. Last time I was pregnant was with Oscar and that was over 4 years ago. I didn't know what to think.

I went home and Connor was there. James was at the gym.

"Hey babe what did the doctor say?" Connor asked when I was through the door. I was still in shock.

"Babe?" He said looking at me, I had to say something or he was going to worry.

I'd been in the thinking it over in my head on the drive home.

"Connor sweet heart. You know after Oscar died we said that we always wanted another one?" I said looking at him

"Yeah." He said

"Well.....your going to be a daddy." I said he looked just as shocked as I had

"Your kidding?" He said a smile on his face

"No the doctor said." I said

He threw his arms around me I could hear him crying.

Connor let go of me and said "how far along?"

"Doc said about 6 weeks so we have ages." I said

"Okay." Con said

"Yeah I want to tell the others sooner rather than later." I said

"Yeah have them all the way this time." Con said

"Tell them on my birthday?" I said

"Yeah." Con said

"Okay." I said and I kissed him

"This is amazing babe and its come at the right time." Con said

"Yeah it has." I said

Over the next couple of weeks I tried so hard for to hide the pregnancy from the others.

My birthday came and I was ready to tell them.

"Guys can you all come into the living room please." I shouted

Everyone including Michael, Ash, Cal and Luke had come round for my birthday. They all came into the living room and sat down on the sofa or the chairs.

"Me and Con have some news." I said Connor put his arm around me.

I looks at Connor and he smiled.

"We're going to have a baby." I said smiling

"Really?" James said

"That's amazing guys." Charlotte said

"Congratulation." Ash said

"Nice one." Brad said

"That's amazing." Trist said

"Congrats guys." Luke said

"Oh exciting." Jodie said

"Happy for you." Cal said

"Fab news." Michael said

"Thanks guys. We wanted to tell you all together this time." Con said

"This time?" Luke said

"Oh sorry I forgot. Back in 2018 I lost one at 25 weeks." I said

"Oh. I didn't know." Luke said

"I did." Ash said

"Yeah didn't you put something on Twitter." Michael said

"Yeah. And we saw you at the end of that year." I said

"Oh yeah you did." Cal said

"Guess I wasn't paying attention." Luke said

"Guess not." I said smiling

"Well congrats anyway guys." Luke said standing up and giving me a hug. I guess he felt bad for forgetting about Oscar.

"Thanks guys it means a lot to me that you all care." I said smiling

"Course we care." James said

"How far along are you?" Brad asked

"10 weeks ish." I said

"So ages yet." Trist said

"Yeah ages." I said smiling

"Cool."

I was so glad that everyone knew it made me feel better.

Jingle bell ball came round really quickly it was scary. Sadly Jodie had to work and Charlotte was enjoying some well earned time off. So it was just me and the boys headings for the ball this year. Which felt real strange. Normally we had other people with us.

Jingle bell ball was amazing and so much fun. But home now and getting sorted for Christmas. Me and Connor were at home for Christmas. The other boys weren't they were all going to their parents houses.

I was excited to be home for Christmas and even though I was home, mum and the boys were coming over. I was happy that they were coming over for the day.

"Hey mum, hey boys. Come in." I said opening the door to them,

"Hey sweet. You okay?" Mum asked

"Yeah I'm good thanks what about you?" I asked standing to one side to let them in.

"Yeah. How you feeling?" Mum asked

"Yeah fine. Not to bad at the moment." I said smiling. I'd told mum that I was pregnant just after my birthday.

"How far along?" Mum asked

"13 weeks. I have a scan on Tuesday." I said

"Awesome. Con going with you?" Mum asked as we walked in the kitchen

"Yeah, James is coming as well. Then me and James are going swimming." I said

"Keeping up the fitness then?" Mum said

"Yeah." I said smiling

"That's good." Mum said

"Yeah." I said smiling

"Hey Liz." Connor said coming down stairs

"Hey Con. You okay?" Mum asked

"Yeah I'm good. Thanks. Hey boys." Connor said seeing Jay and Edward

"Hey Connor." They said
