Chapter 27

Start of April.

"Rhianne." Charlotte said looking at me. She was round, I was guessing because she was bored. Michael was away for the weekend.

"Yeah Charlotte." I said I was sat on the floor playing with Lilly she was trying to pull her self up on the sofa

"I think I might get a tattoo." She said

"Thats cool." I said smiling

"Yeah will you come with me. I don't want to go alone." Charlotte said

"Your course babe." I said smiling

"Thanks Rhi." Charlotte said

"Was thinking about getting one for Oscar. Have his name and date of birth and death under it." I said

"What is Oscars full name?" Charlotte asked

"Oscar Mathew Ball." I said I pointed at the picture that Tristan's mum had given me which was hanging on the wall next to the opening for the dining room

"Oh." Charlotte said

"Yeah. Not many people know his full names." I said smiling

"You been over there lately" Charlotte asked

"Went on my own just before Christmas." I said

"Oh. You going again soon. After all it would be his 5th birthday on the 15th." Charlotte said

"Yeah. Connor wants to take Lilly over there." I said

"You not been over there with her yet?" Charlotte said

"No not yet." I said

"How come." She said coming to sit on the floor.

"Didn't want to take her." I said

"Fair enough." Charlotte said

"Yeah." I smiled Lilly was having a good try at pulling her self up then she managed it and out of excitement she fell back to the floor again.

"Well done baby girl." I said smiling as she grinned at me

"Looking forward to tour?" Charlotte asked

"Yeah. It should be good fun. I'm excited to be taking Lilly with us. Connor had a fight with his mother the other day." I said standing up and picking Lilly up to put her in her high chair for some lunch

"What about?" Charlotte asked following me into the kitchen

"Well she called to find out what was going to happen to me and Lilly while Con was on tour and he said that we were going with him. She didn't like that idea and went off on one saying that we shouldn't take a little one on tour with us because it will damage her hearing and that she'll be exposed to all sorts of toxic fumes and stuff in the end Connor put the phone down." I said while making Lilly a ham sandwich which I knew was a pointless exercise because all she would do is take it apart eat the bread then eat the ham bit I tried.

"Oh dear." Charlotte said

"Yeah. I'm not worried. No point." I said

"Not at all Hun." Charlotte said

"Yeah she'll have ear defenders on and it's not like I'm going to put her push chair behind the tour bus or the trucks." I said putting the sandwich I had just made for Lilly on her table in front of her. Which she enjoyed taking part.

"Course not Hun." Charlotte said

"Oh well she never liked me anyway. She still thinks I'm an unfit mother because of what happened to Oscar." I said
