Living the High Life

Chapter 32

Wednesday 26th July London

Last show in London before we fly out the New York. I couldn't wait to be in America again. I loved it out there so much and to have Lilly and Sid there this time round was going to be amazing.

The last show on the UK tour was incredible and so much fun. The boys had a blast and me, Sid and Lilly enjoyed the show. It had been decided that for the benefit of Lilly and the rest of us that we would fly out to new York on the over night flight straight after the show in London.

"Safe drive home. See you soon." Brad said they all stood at the front of the stage and took a bow. then ran off stage.

We all jumped on the tour bus and headed for Heathrow airport. The show had finished at just gone half 10 and our flight was at half 11. So we were cutting it fine. When we finally got to the airport it was 11 o clock and Lilly was fast asleep which made my life easier. While the boys checked us in and got the bags sorted me, Sid and Lilly in the sling went to get coffee and some food for the journey it was a straight through flight to New York arriving at half 9 tomorrow morning.

"Ready babe." Connor said I was just paying for coffee

"Yeah I'm coming." I said I paid and we headed to the departure gate

"Oh this is going to be hard." I said as we got to our seat there was a cot for Lilly and I knew once she was off my back that she would sleep, it was getting her off my back that was going to be the hard bit. But between 4 of us we managed to get her off my back and into the cot without her waking up.

Which was a relief for all of us. She slept for most of the journey. She woke up about an hour before landing which was fine because I had brought some food and some toys to keep her entertained until we landed and could get some proper breakfast. However even though I had brought stuff for her to do she sat on James's lap and watched the muppets until we landed in New York.

"Right monkey. Come here." I said when we'd landed I put Lilly up in the sling so that we could get off the plane and get our bags.

We got to the hotel and got sorted. It was nearly dinner time according to our bodies but it was only it was only lunch time. I was not looking forward to the next couple of days having a jet lagged 1-year-old was not going to be fun at all.

Over the next couple of days Lilly got used to the time zones and everything which then meant that when show day came she was okay.

"Right mummy is going out. Daddy is getting you dressed." I said getting out of bed. It was show day and me and James were going out for a run then a trip to the gym to get us ready for the day ahead.

"Mama." Lilly said holding her arms up to me

"I know baby." I said I gave her a hug then gave her back to Connor and left.

James was already down stairs waiting for me.

"Ready?" He said he was in his gym trousers and his tank top. I was wear my gym trousers and a tank top with a gym bra underneath

"Yeah I think so." I said

It had been a good month since I had last been for a run. Me, Charlotte, Ash and James had been out a couple of times while they had been with us on tour.

"Good. Let's go. I thought we could run to the gym which is about 2 miles from here have half an hour there then run back." James said

"Yeah sounds good." I said smiling
