Living the High Life

Chapter 24

Over the next couple of days, the boys worked hard. Doing radio and TV tours to promote the next tour and the new album. We landed back in the Uk on the 9th of February we were in Glasgow for a TV interview and I was working which meant sticking to the boys like glue. Charlotte was there to help with Lilly but Lilly was good and spent most of the day on my back in the sling chatting to herself. Which kept me amused.

Sunday 12th February.
We were back in London for two day. Today the boys had a Tv interview on This Morning plus a performance. Then tomorrow a radio interview with radio 1 which the boys were excited about.

"Our own personal alarm clock." Connor said as he opened his eye Lilly was wide wake chatting to herself but it had woke us up.

"Joys of having kids babe." I said smiling and leaning over him and giving him a kiss

"Yep." Connor said getting up and going over to the travel cot Lilly was sleeping in. She put her arms up for him to pick her up, it was really cute and made me smile. Connor picked Lilly up and put her in bed with us and to my surprise Lilly fell back to sleep and we slept for another hour. Before Connors alarm woke us up at half 7.

We were up by half 8 ready to go by 9:10. The boys went straight into hair and makeup which really made me smile.

"8 years of being together and you still find me wearing makeup funny." Connor said when he come out of hair and makeup and came to find me. The 5sos boys were in London for a few days so Charlotte had gone over to their band house for the day and had taken Lilly with her.

"Oh come on babe, it is very funny." I said smiling

"I can't see what is funny. The makeup makes us look Tv presentable." Connor said

"I just find it amusing that's all." I said giving Connor a kiss

He smiled at me

It had been a long week and I couldn't wait to climb into my own bed for a couple of days.

The boys were flying out to New York and me, Lilly, charlotte and the 5sos boys were flying out to LA and meeting the Vamps boys out there. Me and Lilly weren't joining the boys in New York because I wasn't fair on Lilly to put her through 2 long flight in the space of 24 hours.

17th February.

"Hey Rhianne." Charlotte said walking through the door. It was 7:30 at night and we were on the over night flight to LA because it's 13 hours . Lilly was already asleep which was how I wanted her to stay. I knew she would, she was like Connor so much and can sleep anywhere. I was just worried that such a long flight if she does wake up she will scream the place down; but I was staying calm and I would have the 5sos boys and charlotte there with me. which made me feel a little bit more calm.

"Shhh. She's asleep." I said pointing at the push chair in the door way to the living room.

"Sorry hun." She said

"Don't worry." I said

"you ready?" She asked

"Yeah." I said

"Cool." She said smiling

"Where are the boys?" I asked

"In the taxi already." Charlotte said

"Okay. Come on lets go." I said smiling

I picked up a sleeping Lilly up out of her push chair and gave her to Ash while I helped charlotte get my bags and the push chair in the back of the taxi.

"Thanks Ash." I said taking Lilly back.

"It's okay." He said

We got to the airport, we had an hour wait before our flight and in the time Lilly woke up and wanted feeding. I fed her then it was time to get on the plane. Lilly had fallen back to sleep when i'd fed her and thankfully she slept for the whole flight.

We arrived in LA at half 9 in the morning 20 minutes before the vamps boys arrived. So I stuck around to wait, in that time I gave Lilly her breakfast.

"Hey baby." Connor said learning over my head and kissing me

"Hello." I said smiling

"Good flight?" Con asked

"Yeah not bad. She slept for most of it." I said smiling

"That's good to hear." Connor said

"Yeah i'm glad she did." I said looking at Connor.

"Hey Rhi." The other boys said

"Yeah guys." I said smiling at them

"Hey rhi are you coming with us to Tokyo and Beijing?" James asked

"No. me and Lilly are going to stay in LA until the 27th Feb then fly to Paris." I said taking Lilly's bib off and cleaning her up which she didn't like and cried.

"Where you staying?" Con asked

"The 5sos boys have asked if we want to stay with them at the band house." I said smiling

"Aww that should be nice. Chill out time." Connor said smiling

"Yeah and it makes coming to LA worth it. other wise we would be flying home tomorrow night and that doesn't seem fair." I said

"Yeah that's not fair on you and Lilly." Connor said

"Yeah, plus it will be nice to spend some time chilling with the 5sos boys." I said smiling

"Yeah." Connor said

I got Lilly out of the high chair and the 6 of us went to hotel where we would be staying tonight dropped our things off then headed to the Ellen studio. I was so excited about meeting Ellen I had watched her show for years and she was amazing.

"Boys. It's good to have you back." Ellen said I was stood with Jake and Alex

"It's lovely to be back. thanks for having us." James said

"Ellen. I want you to meet my lovely wife Rhianne and our daughter Lilly-Anna." Connor said

I walked up and stood next to connor smiling

"Lovely to meet you Ellen." I said smiling

"You as well Rhianne and how old is this little one?" She said getting down to Lilly's level, she was in the push chair.

"She'll be 9 months in 2 weeks." I said smiling

"Lovely. what did you say her name was?" Ellen said standing back up again

"Lilly-Anna." Connor said

"Beautiful name." Ellen said

"Thanks." Me and Con said

We followed Ellen backstage the boys got sorted and set up. They did sound check they were preforming Wake up. while the boys were off doing their thing I went and had a nosey round.

The boys finished sound check and Connor came to find me, I was in the Ellen shop debating weather I should get Lilly a Ellen baby grow when Connor said "I wouldn't."

"Why not?" I said

"Because have you seen Ellen, she gives things to people." Con said

"Oh yeah." I said smiling

Me and Connor had a nosey round the shop then went to find the others. who were messing around in the green room behind the set.
