Just so you know I could be a lot worse than a grouch in the morning.

I don't sneak out, I don't do drugs, I don't start fights with my siblings, I don't start fights with you guys.

I ask you about making plans instead of telling you what I'm doing. I stay on top of my grades, I make dinner every night, I make sure Abs gets her homework done.

All while being my friends (and your other daughters) councilor and staying relatively independent.

I don't ask you for much besides rides, sorry if I could find a way out of that I would. I don't complain to you about all the shit going on it my life. I don't complain about making dinner and being a mom to Abby. I don't complain when you can't make my schedule work because of a conflict. I leave you alone.

Not one other person anywhere near my age can say this (who I know at least). So I'm sorry if once in awhile my sleepiness draws out some "whining" about being woken up. But know if you did that same thing to some of my friends you'd receive hell for it and I simply asked if she could leave me alone until it was my turn to wake up.

I think you take me for granted. No, I know you do. What about Chris even? You gave up on him. You don't even address it when he picks on a sister half his age. You don't even bother. And Timmy? He started a world war when she put him through the same thing she's putting me through.

If I can silently suffer through all the negative things about this family and my life, can I please have a little slack about my one teenager-ism? Okay I'm not perfect. Get over it.
