Madison's POV:

"So, How about now? Do you feel like talking?" I growl.
"I... D-didn't d-do anyt-thing to y-your brother." Gabriel stutters
"Im not falling for this act." Abbie rolls her eyes.

I glance back at the others, all who stare at us in shock, except for Rick. He watches us with an inquisitive look. I release the knife from Gabriel's neck and silently debate what Ricks look means.

Now that I've stepped back Gabriel shives Abbie off him and she stumbles back but her aim remains on his chest.
"Hey!" I shout, shoving him back into the tree. My hand involuntarily snaps forward, punching him in the face.

"How dare y-"
"She had a gun pointed at me."
"Who hasn't had a gun pointed at them? Seriously ! Grow a pair !"
I shove him again.
"I'm sorry." He blubbers told Abbie as she picks herself up again.

She mumbles something under her breath. Blood oozes from his nose and I feel no remorse for him in the slightest.

Blood oozes from his shoulder and nose.
"Okay, girls, that's enough." Tara calls.
"Nah, let her have her fun. High class entertainment if you ask me." Abraham chuckles.
"Nobody asked you." Tara snaps.
"Come on ! There's a herd of walkers not far from here. We can't be hanging around like this." She adds.

Abbie steps forward again.
"If you won't tell us where Nick is, at least tell us where Daryl is gone. Where was that car going ? What was the cross for ? Is it from another church ?" She Presses.

"I don't know anything about the car. I s,swear. Daryl followed that car himself, that was his decision. It obviously meant something to him if he wouldn't have taken off." He fumbles.
Unfortunately, this is true.

"Unfortunately thats not the answer I wanted to hear." Abbie sighs playing along with my threats.
I look back at Rick again, even though we've left the church the fact still remain that even if he does know where Nick and Daryl are, he's the only one who can tell us. Threatening him gets us nowhere.

I place my hand on Abbies shoulder and she lowers her gun.
"Tara's right. We've got to keep moving."
Abbie frowns at me as if I'm crazy.
"But Nick-"
"We'll find him. He can't be far. We might need this idiot later." I tell her, glaring at Gabriel all the while.

Abbie huffs, turning her back to me and turning away.
I turn once more to Gabriel.
"When we find our brother, I will kill you...with my bare hands. That's not a threat. It's a promise." I tell him before around and joining the group, leaving him cowering against a tree.

"Rick, we need to find Nick." I plead.
Rick puts his hands on both of my shoulders and looks at me.
"We will. We'll find Daryl too"
I nod and Abbie still won't look at me but I can tell she's upset as Michonne rubs her back to comfort her.

"We could split up ? That way we'll cover more ground. He can't be far." I beg Rick.
"Thats a good plan." Glenn says and Rick nods with him.
"Abbie you're with me."
"No." She snaps.
"I don't remember asking." I argue back. I've lost one sibling today, I'm not going to lose another.
She sulks and walks past me, leading our way.
**************

We've searched for hours and still, there's no sign of Nick, not even a footprint to be seen. The sky is getting darker, even the birds have started to settle for the evening. A new feeling of doubt settles in the pit of my stomach. Something that had not occurred to me before, maybe someone really did grab Nick. Maybe he's nowhere near here. Maybe he won't be with us before night fall.

I try my hardest to swallow my frustration and keep my panic at bay. If not for Abbies sake then at least for my own ego. I hurried back to the group in the place where we said we'd meet up again, hoping to god for some good news, hoping that they found Nick and they've been waiting for us to return all along.
