Part 9 - Y/N's POV

I didn't understand why Dan didn't get the van to park around the back of the hotel. We'd escaped, what I had assumed was hundreds of fans, when actually, it was thousands.
The van had nine seats; the front three seated Dan (who was driving), and two security guys, whilst the other six seated my brother, his bandmates, and me with one spare. I was sat at the very back, next to Michael, who had pushed everyone out of the way to sit next to me.
I felt his hand move accross the empty middle seat, so that it encased mine tightly. But I quickly batted it away, as I could see Dan glare at us from the driver's mirror. I couldn't help thinking that he possibly knew about Michael and I kissing, but what did it matter? We weren't 'together' anyway.
Dan always tried to have hushed conversations with Calum, Luke, Ashton and Michael, about what they could and couldn't do. I'm pretty sure I was mentioned in one of those conversations, but had been shooed away before I could hear much more.
Finally we arrived at the radio station's studio, where I would sit for around and hour, maybe more, whilst the boys answered the same questions interviewers asked them at almost every appearance.
I removed my headphones from my ears, before climbing out of the van, and onto the pavement. Except this time, the atmosphere was the complete polar opposite of the hotel's. There were no screaming fans.

---------------------------------------------------------

I glanced at the digital clock on my phone for the hundredth time in the past fourty five minutes. I was very impatient, in waiting for the mid-interview break the band always had whilst the news was airing on the radio. I glanced upwards, and to my relief, the boys were removing their headphones, and wandering out of the small studio room.
I could see from the redness in everyones faces, that they too had been effected by the piping heat in the radio station HQ. I grabbed my purse from the red seat beside me, and walked out of the small waiting room to a lobby near the doors where there was a vending machine.
I inserted 5 of the 6 pound coins I had, and punched a few buttons before 5 bottles of water rolled into the dispenser. As I attempted to pile the drinks into my arms, Dan reached from behind me, and picked up 4 of the 5 bottles. As I tried to object, he scowled, before turning away, and going back into the waiting room before handing a bottle each to the boys.
I sighed, picking up the remaining bottle from the dispeneser, and removing the lid, before taking a sip of the cool liquid. I re-fastened the lid before turning around, where Dan was stood about a meter away from me. He was angry.
"Y/N, i'm going to tell you this only once." He growled. The only thing I could think of, that he'd want to speak to me about, was me and Michael. But he didn't know exactly what had happened; He'd only seen the distance that we weren't keeping from eachother.
"I want you to stay away from Michael."
"If you're thinking that's going to happen," I began (I hated feeling controlled), "It isn't. And besides, we aren't dating if that's what you think." I crossed my arms accross my chest, feeling defensive over the fact that me and Michael weren't an official 'thing'. Although I had an underlying feeling that I wanted to be with Michael, I hated that people assumed we were already.
"Well if you don't stay away from Michael-"
"Why would she be staying away from me anyway?" I heard Michael angrily say. He was now standing behind Dan, who was facing him.
"Because, I don't want another problamatic band who attracts negative attention from the media." Dan stated.
Michael's face went blank, but the conversation, or rather argument, was interrupted by Ashton tapping  him on the shoulder. And with that, the boys resumed the interview, and I sat as they spoke, as Dan watched me.
---------------------------------------------------------

I was suddenly awoken by Luke shaking my shoulder, and I realised I must have fallen asleep.
"Y/N, we're leaving."
I looked at the clock, and realised it had only been 10 minutes since the interview had resumed.
"Already?" I questioned, pulling myself up, so that I was standing opposite Luke.
"Yeah, you didn't see it did you?"
I was confused. What was he talking about?
"Ashton heard your conversation with Dan and Michael. He text someone, and told me, that he'd told the sort of 'boss' of management that Dan was making you uncomfortable."
I sighed and rubbed my forehead, moving my fringe from my eyes.
"The interview ended early because Dan needs to take the van." Luke caught my attention once again.
"Even though the argument wasn't that big, Ashton still told someone. And since he's apparently been like this before, Dan's job has been suspended."
