Y/N's POV
Michael and I clambered out of the car, locking it quickly, before chasing eachother into the house childishly. He beat me to the doorway, blocking me from getting inside, and smiling widly; I shivered at the cold, whilst laughing at our childish behaviour.
"I'm c-cold let me in!" I laughed, and tried to get past Michael but failed, as he blocked me.
"How can you be cold?" He asked, "We're back home, and its the middle of Autumn." He smiled, bringing me into a hug. I wrapped my arms around his torso, and his were around my shoulders, as I could hear his steady heartbeat
"We spent ages in the UK, and it was always cold there," I mumbled against his chest, but was interupted by footsteps on the other side of the street; we broke away from our hug instantly. I hated that we couldn't be open about us being together (officially now) in public, although what had happened in tbe music shop, but even then, no one was around. Michael burst through the front door, and I followed.
Mum looked at us, laughing as I shut the door quickly, and slipped off my jacket. She was preparing some sort of delicious looking chicken dinner on 3 plates, which reminded me that Michael and I were too busy in the music shop to remember food. My mouth watered at the smell, as I began to mutter some sort of apology for not buying ingredients for dinner.
"It's okay, don't apologise. It got late so I just made dinner from stuff I bought yesterday." Mum smiled, as did I, as she gestured for Michael and I to join her at the table. Ashton wasn't downstairs as I looked around, so I assumed he was in his room again. However, Mum noticed that I was looking around, and began to explain where my brother had gone.
"Just after you left, Summer rang the landline. She wanted to speak to you, but I told her you weren't here, so she spoke to Ash instead. I think they're working things out; he's gone over to her house." I nodded, glad that Ashton was finally speaking to Summer.---------------------------------------------------------
I sighed, looking at my ceiling blankly as I layed on my bed with the sheets lightly over me. It was 1am, and Ashton still wasn't home yet, so Michael had been calling him for the last hour. Eventually, he walked into my room, running his hands through his faded red hair, and throwing his phone onto my bed as he sat on the edge of it.
"He didn't pick up?" I asked, as he moved next to me and pulled the blanket over himself.
"Nope." He replied, sighing and pulling me into his chest, as he buried his head into my neck. I hummed contently, as I instantly began to fall asleep.
"Hey, Y/N?" Michael whispered, and i mumbled a tired 'yes?' into his chest. "I love you."---------------------------------------------------------
I woke up suddenly to the sound of footsteps in the hall outside of my room. Mine and Michael's bodies were tangled together, and his arms were still around me as I still had my head in his chest; I could tell we hadn't been asleep for very long, and so I assumed tbe footsteps belonged to Ashton, as Mum was already asleep. I twisted around so I could try and get up to talk to Ash, although I was completely exhausted still. Michael tightened his grip around me, lifting his head back so I could see his face, and his eyes fluttered open.
"Where are you going?" He whispered, his voice gravelly from sleep, although we hadn't had much; it was only 3.30am.
"I think Ash is back." I sighed, but decided against getting up to disturb him, as his door had just shut. Instead, I moved back slightly so I could see Michael's face better, as his eyes still fluttered between opening and closing. He rubbed them, and looked at me, and I could see he was worried about something.
"What?" I whispered, moving my hand to his chest. "Are you okay?"
"It's nothing," and I looked at him so he knew that I had known he was lying and he sighed in defeat, "I don't know, I miss my Mum, and I hate - I hate not being able to tell people... about us. I hate not being able to even hold your hand in public, because someone will post an article online. I don't want people to send you hate."
Instead of replying straight away, I moved our heads closer together so our foreheads were touching.
"Michael, I love you. I don't care if people hate on me because we're together, I can get over that. And your Mum, she'll be back soon. I'm sure I heard on the radio or something that the flights were back up again."
He sighed, before smiling, and kissing me gently. When we pulled away, he put his arms tightly around me again, and I buried my head into his chest as I had before.
"This is why you're my girlfriend, you always make me feel better." He said, before we both began to fall soundly to sleep.
