A/N: Another chapter of two halves. Well, kinda. Its all the same chapter, and was meant to be this time. It's just skipping a few hours in the middle. Also, just to let you know, I have ideas for the next few stories that will come after this. Not sure which one will be next, either a Jardougall or a Lashton. Anyway, enough from me and I hope you enjoy the chapter!

The night ended shortly after our conversation, with the return of Mike, Jaime and Tony. We all walked back to the cars, and began driving back to the house. When we got back to the house, I excused myself and went straight to bed, and actually fell asleep very quickly.

Vic didn't come to wake me up until much later than usual, giving me a sleep in for the first time since arriving here. When he did wake me up, he simply told me to shower and then dress in shorts and a top, before meeting him in the dining room with a warm change of clothes.

I guessed he was going to take me out to see the sunset by the coast. The clothes I picked out for later included a thick black hoodie and full length skinny jeans, while I found some black shorts and a white and black striped polo shirt. It wasn't long before I was stood in the dining room, waiting for Vic to come in.

"I thought, seeing as was trust you enough, and you aren't really showing any signs of running off, that we could could go out for lunch on the beach and then drive up to watch the sunset like I promised. We could paddle in the sea for a bit, maybe go for a drive up through the lanes. Have some time just you and me out together."
"It sounds fun. Is this all I will need?" I held up the clothes I had, and Vic inspected them.
"Should be, though it might be worth having a full change of clothes in case you fall into the sea."

Soon, after running back up and grabbing a spare shirt and boxers, we were in the Jaguar again, driving towards a beach. Vic had turned on the music player, playing me the familiar sounds of Dream Theater's The Count Of Tuscany playing at full volume. I was mildly surprised to hear him listening to them, let alone singing along softly.

The timing was perfect, and we arrived in the car park on the sea front just as the closing bars played. The Sun was shining brightly, sending warmth through my skin and making the water appear to glisten. I took my time getting out of the car while Vic rushed around to the boot.
"It looks inviting, doesn't it? Here, leave your socks and shoes in the car so that they don't get covered in sand, and then take this towel and leave it on the seat. I'll put the roof up on the car before we leave." I caught the towel he threw at me, before proceeding to take off the trainers and socks I had worn.
"Are we going to go straight into the sea?" Honestly, I was a little nervous. It wasn't just that I'd not seen the sun setting over the coast, I had never actually paddled in the sea, or spent time specifically on the beach. It wasn't a necessary thing that needed to be done, so it never became something I would go out of my way to do.
"That is the plan. Then we can come back to the car to grab towel and some cash, find some food from one of the stall along the promenade, and then have a picnic on the beach."

As it turned out, I loved paddling in the sea. I am sure the parents there with their kids probably didn't know what to make of me squealing when I first went into the water, but I can imagine I got some funny looks. It didn't take long before I was jumping over the waves,  running around in the shallows, laughing with Vic as we splashed the water up at each other. I managed to splash Vic first, jumping over a wave right next to him and getting the salt water all up his shorts, and he quickly retaliated by kicking more water up at me. It ended in a full out war, splashing each other until I lost my balance and found myself sat  in the water.
