--2 Months Later--

I was sat on the beach outside Juliet's house, a huge bonfire blazing in front of me, and my friends surrounding me. Vic, Mike, Jaime and Tony had just finished their first year of collage, I'd just got my liscence, and we were throwing a beach party out here to celebrate. It was also a form of good bye, to Juliet and Andy, since we would be flying back to Vesani the following night, and wouldn't see them again until we came back at the beginning of the next Semester.

The past few months had been good, my relationship with Vic getting stronger everyday, and I had been helping Juliet and Andy paint a room in their house ready for the baby that would be born in another five months. Mike, oddly enough, had ended up bumping into Hayley, the bar maid from Michigan. She'd come to visit Juliet, her cousin, and they'd met again, this time without Mike getting into a fight with anyone, and they'd ended up getting together. The relationship was weeks old, but they were happy enough.

All around me, there were people from Vic's collage dancing, drinking the mock-tails we'd prepared, putting a ban on drinking alcohol for Juliet's sake. Vic stood beside me, arm around my waist as we spoke to various people we'd become friendly with. After a while though, Juliet came over, and poked me in the shoulder.
"Kellin, come with me for a minute, please." I detached myself from Vic, who looked a little put out, the way he always did when he had to get go of me, even if only for a few minutes.
"Sure, I'll be back in a bit, Vic."

I followed Juliet right along the beach, walking until we were out of sight of the party.
"Are you looking forward to going back to Vesani then? We never really spoke about it."
"Yeah, it will be nice to see everyone back there again, but I'll miss you."
"I'll miss you too, Kellin. I wanted to make sure that you'd be okay out there. You know you'll be living there permanently in a few years, don't you?" It was something that I'd discussed with Vic on a few occasions. I'd already known that in order to be together, I'd end up moving to Vesani, and living in the palace with him. However, there had been discussions. We were going to sell the house here in the states, knowing full well that it wouldn't be used anywhere near enough to make it worth keeping, but there was nothing stopping us from having a little house or apartment out here, where I could come and live for short periods while Vic was away on business, and that Vic could come and stay with me as a brief holiday.
"I know. But I'll be coming back to visit you, if that's what you're worried about. And Vic's already said that you are welcome to visit us any time."
"Oh I know that we'll still see you, Vic told me about the idea of having somewhere near by that you could stay for a few weeks at a time. But I'd like it if we could talk more often than an occasional phone call and visit."
"I'm sure that we can arrange something." Juliet grinned, and got a piece of paper out of her pocket.
"This is my Skype address, I set it up earlier today, or rather Andy did while I sat hugging and pillow and questioning the Universe. I didn't know if you had an account, but maybe you could try calling me over it, and see how well it works." I took the piece of paper, tucking it into my own pocket.
"It's worth a go. I don't have an account, but it shouldn't take me very long to do."
"Thank you Kellin. Now let's get you back to the party, it seems only right that you can enjoy it, since one fifth of it is celebrating you passing your driving test."

When I rejoined the party, Vic pulled me away from the bonfire to dance for a bit. Most of our dancing was focused around each other, right up until Mike put the one song I'd asked him to play on, mostly because it made Vic get really embarrassed. When Honky Tonk Badonkadonk began playing, I saw Vic blush bright red, something that I loved seeing him do. I started dancing the same way Carly, Ellie, Jasmin and Takara had taught me to on a day in Vesani where Vic had to be off doing something with his Dad. He hadn't seen me do it before, and his jaw dropped when he noticed. It was funny watching him trying to cope with it, clearly having an effect on him. When the song was over, he pretty much dragged me off, around some rocks and out of sight of the party.
"Seriously Kellin? Do you have any idea what you do to me?" I smirked, making a big deal of looking at the obvious bulge in his trousers.
"I can do it again later, if you'd like. Maybe with fewer clothes, I get ever so hot when I'm dancing..." I trailed off, only for Vic to push me back up against one of the rocks, lips firmly again mine. He released me a few moments later, panting heavily.
"The only reason I'm not going to fuck you right here and now is because once I get your clothes off, they won't being going on again until we have to leave tomorrow." He kissed me again, harder this time, before releasing me completely and walking off.

Later in the night, I was sat next to Vic, my head resting on his shoulder as we watched the fire burning. We weren't talking, just sitting together peacefully, giving me a change to think. Most of my thoughts were consumed by Vic, mostly thinking about the fact that we would be officially announcing out 'courtship' to Vesani in just a few weeks time. I was nervous, of course, but I would be with Vic the whole time.
"Vic?"
"Hmm?"
"What will the announcement be like?"
"Well, there's going to be a lot of cameras, and my Dad will make some kind of speech, then introduce us, presenting us a couple for the first time publicly, though most people will know that we're dating anyway." I nodded, remembering the days we'd spent in the city, small children and old ladies asking us if we were together. "Then I just have to say a few words, we hold our interlocked hands up for the world to see, share a kiss, and then go and get changed ready for the ball, where all of the officials will congratulate us."

We sat quietly for a while after that, my mind racing. I'd become a public figure, someone who's opinions mattered in the world afterwards, and Vic had already gotten me to work on how I would present myself, and do some work with one of the charities in Kapitali. I was happy with the charity that I'd chosen to represent, it was a charity that helped children who had either been abandoned by their parents, or who's parents had died, housing them, and finding them new families to integrate with. It made sense that I'd help them out. I loved the way Vic had automatically thought of it, it was the perfect charity for me to be partnered up with. I loved how thoughtful Vic was, one of the many reasons I loved him in general.
"Oh fuck." The thought made me blink a few times. Was it true?
"Kells?" Vic shifted so that he was looking at me, and I sat upright, eyes wide, smiling like an idiot. Of course it was, I loved Vic.
"I love you, Vic." I watched the smile spread across his face.
"I love you too, Kellin."

That's it! Finished! Well...

Okay, I'm going to list everything that I have to say, because it will be easier.

1) Yes, there will be a sequel. It'll be set sometime shortly after Vic finishes collage, and I've already got some plans and ideas laid out. I think it will be about the same length again, but don't hold me to it. I don't know when I'll get to it, it depends on my motivation to write and how much time I have.

2) I have plans for many other stories, hopefully I will get around to writing at least a few of them. I enjoy writing the stories, but time is limited and I often find I get bored of stories or struggle to write them out. So you may well find another few being put up from time to time, possibly I will either put it all up in one go or do what I did with this one. We'll see.

3) Some of you might know that I started a Jalex, which I stopped publishing in January and is currently on Hiatus? Well, I am working on it, it's going to take a long time, and one day, I'll just put the whole damn story, start to finish, up on what is the current story. One day. Maybe.

4) I just want to say a huge thank you to everyone. To my friends, for supporting my writing and proof reading my work. To everyone who's read this story, you guys are awesome, and it means a lot to me that people actually want to read something written by someone who is by all purposes, slightly insane. I love you all, for sticking with me. Finally, to the group of people who have voted on every chapter, and to Swshanon1607 who I have become friends with. Her comments and messages have never failed to make me smile, I hope that this story (aside from the breif spats) has done the same for you. Should probably mention my wonderful team of friends who proof read. We have a friend from school who checked content, kingcarlsburg who checked the quality of my writing and my plans, and then TessHerondale29 who did spelling and grammar most of the chapters (it was much worse before she got hold of it).
