Clone Wars Untold

Chapter 21

Ahsoka woke up in a large empty room, the sunlight from outside flooding in through the windows that filled the length of the walls. She realised that she was lying down on the ground that was hard and cold on her light orange skin, she looked up to see the metal legs of battle droids behind her making here wonder who was in front of her and to her surprise it was Count Dooku sitting in the Mandalorian throne.

"I thought you said they were in the underworld" Anakin said frustrated that his former apprentice and the secret Separatist spy were nowhere to be found. "Let me check the tracker again" Obi Wan pulled out the small data pad and after a few clicks on the screen, there was a look of shock on his face. "What?" Anakin said starting to worry, "Anakin, they're no longer on Coruscant, they're on Mandalore" Obi Wan said slowly still trying to process it himself. Anakin felt a stab of pain burst with inside him as though a lightsaber had just cut through his torso, all of his memories came racing through his head and he suddenly didn't care what he had to do to get her back, he would do whatever it took.

"Ah you've finally woken up" Dooku said as though he was delighted to see her, "what do you want from me?" Ahsoka sneered trying once again to see if her binders would snap but they unfortunately didn't. "If I told you I would have to kill you and I don't want to do that" he took a glance at her, "just yet" he added, "in case you haven't heard I'm no longer a Jedi" she said refusing to look at her. "I couldn't care less if you were a Jedi or not, I just need you" emphasising that last word. "How did I even get here?" She asked not entirely remembering everything that had happened recently, "I'm sure you remember Kai" the man said stretching out his hand to a corridor with 2 droids escorting a miserable, in-prisoned Kai. Just looking at the boy brought back memories of the adventure Ahsoka had had with him as well as brining back the memory of him knocking her out with the lightsaber she had constructed.
"Why go through it all? Why not just kidnap me straight away?" Ahsoka asked, anger boiling up inside of her, "ah a very good question my dear, you see I had to get Kai to earn your trust since you had just come out of the Jedi order not trusting anybody" he said walking over to Kai. "And know that the boy has done his job his reward shall be delivered" Dooku yanked his lightsaber out and stabbed Kai right in the stomach resulting in Kai taking one last final breath and falling to the ground as a dead man, as much as Ahsoka hated him she still didn't like seeing people die, ironic that I've fought in a war for almost 2 a bit years and I still don't get used to it.

"Anakin we can't just rush on in like this, the boys a Separatist spy and has the backing of Count Dooku and the droid army, we could be walking in to a trap." Obi Wan said running along side the younger Jedi, "we can't just let Ahsoka potentially die" he yelled while stopping, "I couldn't agree more but I suggest we bring a few armed cruisers just to be on the safe side" Obi Wan exclaimed, "but Mandalore's a neutral system" Anakin complained annoyed that they waisting precious time. "I feel this is something far worse then just a kidnapping" Obi Wan projected his thought.

As Ahsoka stared at Kai's lifeless body she noticed the hilt of her lightsaber on Dooku's belt and using her quick thinking used the force to pull it towards her, activated it, took down the droids and stood in a ready position, my hands may be in binders but that hasn't stopped me before she thought as Dooku turned his attention to her and raked an eyebrow. He drew out his crimson red bladed lightsaber and pointed it at her, "try me youngling" he smirked, Ahsoka trembled as she charged at him hoping to get a strike but the wiser of the two stepped to the side and let fall on to the chair. She got up releasing that fighting with binders was harder then she originally planned and charged at him again, this time the Count blocked her incoming attack and pushed her back. Dooku shot a few lightning shocks her way but she luckily blocked them just in time, she ran at him from the straight on at with perfect timing rolled between his legs and kicked him in the back sending him tumbling a few steps. They both faced each other and this time it was I fact the Count who charged and got a few attacks at her, she managed to block them but unfortunately Dooku knocked the lightsaber out of her hands and started to electorate her until she was unconscious.
