Morgans pov

After everything that happened last year Michael never left and I was incredibly grateful. He basically lived at my house. Luke is not around anymore. We see him at school but he doesn't come near us. Sophia doesn't either. She flirts with Michael but he ignores her.

I woke up with Michael's arm draped over me. The room was dark and so was the sky. The clock said it was 5:49. There was no way I would fall back asleep. I was getting up in an hour so it didn't matter. Michael started mumbling things before waking up completely.

"Hey Mikey" I whispered. His eyes darted around the room and his muscles tensed.

"What time is it?" He licked his lips.

"Almost 6 why?" He finally made eye contact with me.

"Are you okay?" He asked grabbing my arm and looking at it.

"Michael" I giggled. "What's going on?"

"I got to check the house" He jumped out of bed and left the room. I wrapped a blanket around myself and followed him. He was in the kitchen, his mouth open, eyes wide, and pale.

"What's out there?" I asked. I walked towards the window but he pushed me back.

"There's someone out there" He said quietly. I squeezed my eyes shut and turned away from the window.

A rock came crashing through the window. Glass flew everywhere.

"Michael?"

"I'm right here babe are you all right?" He came up behind me and wrapped his arms around my waist.

"y-yeah" I took a shaky breath and closed my eyes again. "Are they still there?" I managed to say.

"Yep my house lets go" He grabbed my hand and ran to his car. Just like Michael said there was a hooded figure in my backyard. Goose bumps rose on my skin the longer I looked at them. They started to cross the yard.

"Michael" I whispered starting to shake in fear. "Michael drive"

"I can't find my keys" He said searching his pockets.

"Michael Gordon Clifford you better find those keys and get out of here" I looked back out the window but the person wasn't there. The car started and they popped up by my window with a sick smirk. I screamed.

"Drive" I demanded. That was the scariest looking person I have ever seen. That's the scariest situation I have ever been in. When we were a good distance away Michael didn't drive as fast. Michael glanced at me and put his hand on my thigh.

"You're shaking" He said softly.

"S-scared" I didn't dare look out my window. I kept my eyes closed and focused on Michael's thumb rubbing circles on my thigh.

The car stopped and Michael got out. I did to. I kept glancing around and so did Michael.

"Lets watch a movie" Michael said once we were in his house. I nodded and sat on the couch. I had my back against the arm rest and pulled my knees up to my chest. Michael put a movie in and sat close to me on the couch.
