Michaels pov
When I turned her over I saw her eyes had turned purple and the necklace was black. My finger started hurting again. The ring was black just like the necklace.

The last time it turned black it meant she was dying. I saw a black shadow in the corner. I stood up and turned towards it.

"She's dying" they said.

"Your killing her" I spat.

"And what are you going to do?" They said making me stop and think.

"Do whatever you want to me just don't hurt Morgan" I said standing in between the shadow and Morgan.

"Anything?" The questioned. I swallowed hard but nodded despite how nervous I was.

They raised their hand and I flew back into the wall. I brought my hand up to my head. There was blood but it was worth it if this protected Morgan.

"Alright Michael" they said slowly. "You would do anything for your beloved girlfriend so here's what you'll do" they came closer and pinned me against the wall, holding me by my neck.

"Get out of town" they said. They let go so I could breath again. They slammed me against the wall once more.

"Leave now or she dies" they warned.

I nodded and ran out of the library. What was I suppose to do? I had tears running down my face as I left town. I couldn't go back or I would loose Morgan forever. I wanted this nightmare we were living to end.

I walked for an entire day before I stopped at another town. I had my credit card so I rented a hotel room and went directly to sleep.

I didn't know how long I would be here so the first thing I did the next morning was look for a job.

Luckily there was an opening at a music store so I applied for a job and got it.

I started work tomorrow but for now I went to a diner to get food. I pulled out my phone and saw a bunch of texts from the guys asking where I was. I wasn't going to tell them in fear of Morgan getting hurt but I would of given anything just to hear her voice or to hold her or at least explain what was happening. She was passed out when he told me to leave which meant she didn't hear.

It looked like I just disappeared. I hovered over Morgan's contact before turning off my phone and eating.

This hurt me more than anyone. Being separated from Morgan and having her think I just left her. I made a promise to never leave her and I intended on keeping that promise but I also promised to always keep her safe and staying away meant keeping her safe then I would suffer through it.

So if starting a new life over in this town is what I takes to keep Morgan safe then I was going to have to get use to it because that's how much I love Morgan.
