Morgan's pov
"Hey wait what's that?" I asked pointing to an envelope on the table.

"Oh it's just the court date" Michael said turning around.

"Wait what court date?" I asked grabbing his arm.

"For that stupid accident" he grumbled.

"But it was an accident" I said.

"I know but not to the family. They want to press charges" he said shaking me off and going out to the car.

I put the envelope back on the counter and followed him out to the car. Calum was going to drive us all there and I was taking all of them home in Calums car.

"Hey Morgan" Ashton said smiling.

"Hey guys" I waved.

Michael sat staring out the window the whole time. I grabbed his hand but he pulled his hand away. I sighed and laid my head on his shoulder.

"Can you not?" He snapped.

"Alright alright I'm sorry" I said quietly and sat up straight.

Everyone else was too busy arguing over a video game to hear what we said or to recognize what happened and I was glad. I didn't want to get in a fight with him today.

"Happy birthday" we all yelled walking in the house.

Michael put his hand on my lower back and gave me a small smile.

"I'm sorry" he whispered in my ear before kissing under my ear.

He led me through the house and out into the backyard where all of his family was. I didn't know anyone here.

"Hey babe just stay with me alright?" Michael said taking a hold of my hand.

He walked under the tree in his yard. It wasn't close to where everyone was which confused me. Here he was with his family he hardly ever sees and he takes me under a tree away from everyone.

"Michael go see your family" I urged.

"No I have to tell you something" he said looking around nervously.

"What is it?" I asked looking into his eyes.

"I have this cousin. He's always been jealous of not just me but everyone in our family. If he tries anything please come get me and tell me ok I don't want him hurting you" he told me.

"What do you mean tries anything?" I asked getting nervous.

I remembered the pizza place and shuddered.

"Just tell me alright" he said going back to his family.

I sighed and spotted Luke sitting by himself so I went and sat next to him.

"Oh hey Morgan" he smiled.

"Why are you by yourself?" I asked.

"I don't know most of mikes family" he said shrugging.

"How come?"

"Me and Michael didn't get along when we were younger and that's when his family was around a lot" he said.

"Oh yeah I remember him telling me that" I said laughing. I couldn't believe there was a point when they didn't get along. They are such great friends now.

"Hey your Morgan right?" A guy asked. I nodded and looked beside me hoping to see Luke but he was gone.

"I'm Sean" he smirked. "Come see this place me and Michael use to hang out at" he said grabbing my wrist. I winced in pain. Was this the guy Michael warned me about?
