Michaels pov
"She's in the woods" her mother said.

"How do we get there?" I rushed trying to stop crying.

"Drive there. Just go now and drive" she said quickly pushing me to the door.

"Michael take this" she said handing me a silver ring with a heart engraved into it. I gave her a confused look as I slipped it on my finger.

"It's going to help you find Morgan" she said.

I started driving down streets I had never heard of and turning down random ones until I was met with a forest. I took the first trail I saw.

I saw Morgan standing up to her knees in water. She was crying and I could see her shaking. She started to slowly walk into the water.

"No" I whispered realizing what she was doing.

"Morgan don't do it" I yelled getting her attention.

She shook her head and mouthed 'I'm so sorry' before disappearing under water.

I ran as fast as I could into the freezing water searching for her. But the water was too murky for me to see anything.

My finger started burning and when I looked at it the silver ring had turned black.

I felt like I was being dragged until I felt something under the water. It was Morgan. I gripped onto her arm and pulled her above the surface. She started gasping for breath as soon as I did.

I carried her like a baby back to my car and turned the heat on all the way. Morgan's gasp for breath turned into short jagged breaths. Her tears mixed with the water droplets on her face.

"What were you thinking babe?" I asked feeling tears of my own.

"It's not what I was thinking. None of this is what I was thinking" she said angrily. "It's them. It's all been them and I hate it" she said loudly.

"Calm down" I whispered.

The sun was setting by the time we both stopped crying. It was warm in the car but our clothes were still wet.

"Why don't we just stay here tonight" I suggested.

She nodded weakly. I moved to the back and laid the seats down do we had room. I grabbed a few blankets I kept in the back and made a bed out of them.

"Come here Morgan" I said laying down.

She crawled into the back with me. I pulled a blanket over both of us. She buried her head in my chest and it wasn't long before I felt her tears soak through my shirt.

"Hey what's wrong?" I asked playing with her hair.

"Michael" she whispered.

"Yeah? I'm right here" I said.

"Do you want to talk about it?" I asked when she stayed quiet.

"No just stay" she whispered.

"Of course" I kissed the top of her head.

I sang stay the night until she fell asleep.

"I love you more than you will ever know" I told her even though she was asleep.
