Michaels pov
I stared out the window making sure she didn't come back.

"M-Michael" I turned around. Morgan looked like she was going to be sick. And she did. She got up and ran to the bathroom.

I waited a minute before following her in. She was leaning against the cabinet with a tears rolling down her face.

I gave her a small smile and sat next to her. I grabbed her shaking hand and wiped under her eyes.

"S-she's alive" The tears I wiped were replaced with new ones.

"No sweetheart she's not. That's someone just playing a horrible joke on you" I said softly.

"Michael that was her. I know it was"

"It wasn't" I stood up and put my hand out for her. I pulled her up. She clutched onto my arm for support.

"I'm gonna brush my t-teeth" she said. I nodded and wrapped my arms around her waist. I watched her brush her teeth. Her hands shook. I gave her a sad smile and followed her out of the bathroom.

"It's makes no sense" she said playing her fingers.

"It won't" was all I could think of to say. For the first time in our relationship the room became awkward. I turned on the tv and hoped it would take the tension out of the room. I finally moved to the kitchen. She laid watching the tv on the couch but I could tell she wasn't really watching it.

"I'm just gonna go for a walk" she said shuffling into the kitchen. I nodded and continued looking for something to eat. I heard the door slam shut.

Morgan's pov
I walked mindlessly around the neighborhood. I haven't been to Michaels house in such a long time. I had one headphone in. It was something I've always done. I don't like the feeling of not hearing what's going on around you.

It made me feel like I was in a movie. I could hear what was going on around me but I could still hear the music. Kinda like a movie scene.

It also helped me block out the world but still remind me that the rest of the world was there. The happy moments. The break downs. The dangers. The people. The animals. The reality of the world I was living in.

It wasn't long before it started getting dark. My phone beeped. I went to answer but my phone died. Perfect.

I hoped it wasn't anything important. The darkness soon over took the streets and I was completely lost. I couldn't recognize any street names. I couldn't see either.

"Do you need help?" Someone asked softly. I noticed the black hoody that clung to them. They pulled the hood down. Her face made me want to cry. It was my mother. I backed away not believing my eyes. Before either of us could say anything else she disappeared.

I walked around for hours. If was well after midnight. I was giving up hope. Every single light in the houses was off and nothing but the dimly lit street lights lit up the street.

I saw Michaels house in the distance. Finally. I collapsed on his couch. I didn't have enough energy to move anymore. The clock read 4:56. How could I get that lost?
