Belles POV

I rolled over, breathing out.

I frown a little, my head feels so heavy, my eyelids feeling weighted down by bricks, unable to open. I moved my arms to feel the soft feel of fur gliding over my skin.

As gorgeous as this feels against my skin, I'm boiling.

Opening my eyes, I pull the cover off me and sit up, swivelling round slowly, my legs dangling off the side of the bed.

I take another deep breath and rub my sleepy eyes, willing them to wake up quicker, my elbows locked, my hands on the bed supporting me.

One last sigh and I opened my eyes fully, only to realise, the whole room was green?

Green throws, green tapestry, green bed sheets, green everything.

This isn't Rumples room?

Where-

Oh.

My heart started to slow down and beat at a normal pace as I remembered I was at the Charming's castle.

But why was I in a bedroom?

Rumple and I came here to start figuring out what to do about the whole missing people situation, not to sleep?

I wonder if they have gotten anywhere, for gods sake Belle, why did you have to fall asleep?

I stood up and brushed myself off, using some lace I always have hooked onto my dress  to tie my hair into a lose ponytail.

Now come, on, wake up, I say, slapping my cheeks a little.

I left the room, closing the door behind me, shocked to see the torches lit on the walls, surely it couldn't be dark yet? How long have I been sleeping?

Shaking it off I head down to my right, in hope of finding where Rumple and Snow where.

The night air had gotten into the castle and I suddenly was aching for that fur blanket i just took off.

I saw orange light, glowing in front of me to the left, a door slightly open, a soft muffled voice coming from it.

I tiptoed over and looked through the crack.

My heart fell as I saw it was the infirmary, an ill looking Charming, unconscious in a white bed, Snow sat at his bedside, holding his hand, reading to him.

Dont interrupt Belle.

I take a step back, but Snow's head looks up, before turning around.

"Belle, you're awake," her face softened into a sad but warm smile.

Deciding I couldn't leave now as I'd been spotted, i pushed the door open wide enough for me to fit through and walked in.

"How is he?" I asked gently, my voice a little louder than a whisper.

Snow shook her head, looking at her sleeping prince.

"It's not looking good..." i could see her holding back tears.

I reached her, placing my hand gently on her shoulder,

"Im so sorry..." I shook my head, saddened to see David in this way.

"Oh," she said, placing one of hers on top of mine, "don't be," she squeezed it softly.

"If theres anything I can do, watch over him a while, whilst you get some rest?" I offered, smiling at her supportively.
