It's still summer & it was a hot one. My older sister was soon leaving for her first year of college. So we decide to spend more time together. On one of our chilling days we decided to get something to eat from Sids. It was packed in there it seems like it took forever for us to get to order. When it was finally our turn we ordered and right after I was done I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned to see him..... I swallowed so hard I thought everyone heard me. I don't know why he makes me so nervous. It was weird! He smiled at me and said:
Hey? Ni Right? He said with that prefect smile he had.
I smiled back and said, Yeah, Um your Mo's friend right?
Yeah, I'm Teeny wow you live around here. I never seen any of y'all before that day.
Yeah I live on Stanley st. Been around here all my life. I told him proudly. While my sister cleared her throat. Oh shit I almost forgot I was with her. Um Jamilah this is Teeny? I said looking up at him as he smile and shook his head yes. Oh okay Teeny this is my sister Jamilah. Teeny's Mo friend. I told her, she just smiled and waved. I thought she was gonna keep taking but she didn't. She turned to talk to her friend who also was in the store. Us on the other hand talk more until my food was ready. Nothing rememberable just small talk. After our food was done we said our good byes and left.
I called Mo to tell her I seen Teeny and to tell her I thought he was a really cool guy. She told me she thought he was cool too. But she didn't like him like that he wasn't her type. Beside that she had a boyfriend who was booked(locked up). So she wasn't looking for any dudes for real. He was just cool to talk to, then she said it.
Guess who his dream girl is? She said

Ms. Parker, Monique! Lol she said
I laughed too, but I thought about it. He likes big girls too! I don't know why I got excited? It's not like I could talk to him. He's kinda talking to my Bestfriend. I quickly erased all thoughts of him out my mine. But damnnnn, couldn't a girl dream though.

I can't keep Teeny off my mind. I have been seeing him a lot more now. Everywhere I go it seen like he's there. We always stop and bust it up with each other. He's really funny he makes me laugh like all the time.
Him and Mo stop talking a while ago. I don't know why but he's super cool I would of keep him around. But she didn't that's what makes us different. I'm cool she's not what you called stuck up or anything but she's the quiet type. I'm funny I'm a people person, she's more laid back. We actually are so different but we make each other. What she lack I make up and vice verse. That's my bitch.
Oh hold on I'm getting a call on my house phone.

Yeah Ni come around Ali said he'll be calling at 4:00 and he wants to talk to you. Said Shawn( my play sister, my ex who's away in placement sister)
Okay I'll be around in a min. I said then hung up the phone. I went to get my jacket and my pocket book. Grabbed my keys off the table, locked up the house and left. I was at the corner of Shawn's block when I heard my name being called. I looked up and seem him. I started to blush instantly, I waved at him as he ran up to me.
Hey Ni how you? He said as he gave me a hug.
I said what's up and returned the hug he was giving me. It was actually weird because we never hugged before we just shook hands or dabbed each other up. But I didn't mind he smelled so good. He smelled like a grown man. The dudes I been talking to never smelled like him. I mean they wore Muslim oils or what not. But not him he wore cologne. I could stay in his embrace for ever. But just as soon as I thought it the hug was over.
