Kevin's POV
We arrived at the school a few minutes later. Since Eddie and I have first period with James we were going to ask him about the cat hybrid then. The bus pulled to a stop at the side entrance of the plain school building.
All of us got off the bus and made our way to our lockers and first periods since the bell would ring in a couple of minutes.
Eddie and I didn't have to go to our lockers, so we went to our first period, English. While me and Eddie sat down in our seats we both saw James walk in. He looked deep in thought. He had a small smile on his face and his face was a bit red.
"James?" Eddie asked, snapping his fingers in front of James's face. He blinked a couple of times, coming back to reality.
"Huh?" He asked, sounding confused.
"Me and Kevin want to ask you something, just don't laugh after we ask okay?" Eddie said, sounding kinda nervous.
"What is it?"
"Well, when you were talking about that cat earlier, are you sure it's a cat?" I asked. James perked up, obviously not expecting that question.
"Um, w-what else would it be?"
"A hybrid." Eddie said, looking serious for once. James's eyes widened with some sort of realization.
"That's what he's called!?" James asked, sounding excited. Me and Eddie exchanged a smile. So he really did have a cat hybrid after all.
"Yes, is your 'cat' a hybrid?" I asked. James suddenly looked a little hesitant, as if he didn't trust us or we were pulling some kind of trick, but he nodded. Eddie let out a small excited yell. At that moment the bell rang and class was starting.
"We'll talk on the bus alright?" Eddie asked, looking at James and then me. We both nodded and started getting our things out for class.

The final bell rang and I bolted to my locker, quickly dropping off my textbooks. I somehow managed to finish all of the work in class so I had no homework. Fucking awesome. I made my way to the bus pickup.
It only took a few minutes for Eddie, James, and Ze to arrive. The rest of the guys got rides from their other friends. We waited for the bus to arrive, which didn't take too long. We quickly got on and James, Eddie, and I made our way to the back.
Me and James shared a seat while Eddie sat in the seat in front of us.
"So, what's the hybrid's name?" Eddie asked, his curiousity so strong you could almost see it in his brown eyes.
"His name is Seamus."
"What does he look like?" I asked.
James didn't hesitate, "He's blond with blue eyes, he's pretty short and he has orange cat ears and cat tail. But guys, there's one thing I don't get, how do you know about hybrids?"
I let out a big grin.
"Because we have hybrids at our houses." Eddie said with a slight giggle at the end. James looked shocked.
"Why didn't you tell me and the rest of the guys?"
Me and Eddie gave James a look that said, 'are you fucking kidding me?'
"Well first off, they're wanted, and second, who the fuck would believe us?" I replied. James nodded, seeming to be embarrassed. After that me and Eddie went on about Steven and Aleks, James listened, but I think he could tell I had feelings for Steven.
Soon, the bus arrived at James's bus stop. He seemed eager to go, can't say I blame him. I want to back to my house and see Steven and his usual smiling self.
James left with a quick goodbye. Ze got off at this stop too, along with a few other kids. After that, me and Eddie were practically the only people on the bus besides a blond girl playing on her phone. The ride to our stop was short.
Me and Eddie got off the bus once it pulled in to our stop. We would meet back at the bus stop in about thirty minutes. We parted ways and quickly walked in the direction of our houses. Once I made it to the front door I fumbled with my keys excitedly.
Every time I walk through the door I get to see Steven, and that was exciting enough on its own. I unlocked and opened the door. I walk in and close the door behind me. The TV is on, but Steven is nowhere in sight.
"Steven?" I asked, starting to get nervous. I was scared that someone caught him and took him back to the lab. Okay, I was scared, I was terrified, I couldn't risk losing him. I love him.
"Steven!?" I call out a little more frantically. I walked into the kitchen where I heard a shuffling. I turned around but was attcked from behind in a large tackle hug. I relaxed when I realized it was Steven.
"Well hello to you too." I said, smirking. I could hear Steven mumble something, but it was muffled by his face in my shirt.
"What?" I asked. Steven detached from my back and turned to face me. He leaned upwards on his tippy-toes and kissed me deeply. I smiled into the kiss. I licked his lip for entrance, to which he eagerly granted.
I slipped my tongue in and we fought. I won and explored his mouth. I deepened the kiss and gently shoved Steven against the kitchen wall. He moaned and I smirked, still kissing him. We pulled apart for air, our noses so close they were touching.
"Steven," I whispered, still out of breath. He looked into my eyes with curiousity.
"Yeah?" He asked.
"Do you want to go see Eddie and Aleks?" I saw Steven's eyes light up. His tail thumped against the wall and his ears were lifted off of his head.
"Yes of course!" He said happily. He grabbed my arm and practically dragged me out of the house. I snatched a beanie that was hanging on a chair and slammed it on Steven's head right as we walked outside.
Fortunately there was no one outside, but I didn't want to take the risk.
"Steven be careful you almost forgot your beanie. Don't forget you're still wanted." I said, keeping my voice low to let him know I was serious. He looked at me, his tail and ears drooping. I smiled gently kiss his cheek to let him know I wasn't mad.
"Just be careful," I whispered in his ear. He nodded. We arrived at the bus stop late. An impatient Eddie was waiting for us. He looked flustered, his hair slightly messy, well, more messy than it usually is.
"What took you guys so long?" He snapped. I chuckled and pointed to Steven who blushing like mad. Eddie raised an eyebrow. I was about to explain but was interrupted by a sniffing noise. I look over and see Steven smelling Eddie.
His face was scrunched up in confusion.
"What is it Steven?" Eddie asked, looking a slight bit nervous. Steven stoppped sniffing and tilted hs head to the side. It was so adorable.
"Were you kissing Aleks?" Eddie's face turned an even darker shade of red. I looked at Steven with disbelief.
"Steven you don't just ask someone if they were kissing someone else." I say, feeling a bit embarassed.
"Yes Steven. I kissed Aleks alright?" Eddie asked, looking away. I smiled and rolled my eyes. He was making a big fuss out of this. I tapped his shoulder and he turned to look at me. I then cupped Steven's face with my hands and kissed him deeply.
He immeadiately kissed back and smiled through the kiss. I guess he liked this way of telling Eddie that we were together. I pulled away and turned to look at Eddie. His mouh made a tiny 'o' shape. I smiled.
"So, are we going to your house or what?" I asked, heading in his house's direction.
