Steven's POV
I took a few more small steps into the forest. My senses were overwhelmed by the wonderful smell of trees, earth and fresh air. I took a deep breath and put my hand onto a tree. I had never experienced anything like this. The world seems a lot bigger than I thought.
"Steven?" Kevin said quietly, snapping me out of my thoughts. I turned around to face him.
"Yes?"
I saw him quickly walk over to me. The closer he got, the faster he went. By the time he was within two feet of me he was running at full speed. I raised a brow in confusion. I was about to ask him what he was doing when he tapped my arm sharply.
"Tag! You're it!" He yelled, running past me. I smile grew on my face as I ran after him. I was getting closer and closer. I was panting by the time I caught up with him. Suddenly he slowed down and I tackled him to the ground.
My stomach lurched as I fell on top of Kevin. I blushed when I felt his heavy breathing next to my own. He was smiling at me, his face red. Our faces were less than a foot apart and I could feel myself start to lean in. To my surprise, Kevin was leaning forward too.
Our lips gently brushed and he went in for the kiss. I felt sparks when his soft lips touched mine. Kevin sat up and pushed me in his lap, all the while kissing me. I felt dizzy with pleasure. It was like fulfilling a life-long dream, only better. I would know, escaping the lab and all.
Kevin's tongue lightly grazed my lip. I opened my mouth slightly as his tongue darted in. Our tongues fought and he won, exploring every inch of my mouth. We pulled away for air and Kevin started leaving small kisses on my neck.
I moaned and I could feel him smirk. He pulled away from my neck and whispered in my ear,
"I love you Steven." My heart fluttered and I could feel my face get hot. A grin swept across my face as I tackled Kevin in a hug. I could tell he was surprised at my force, but he soon melted into the embrace.
"I love you too Kevin." I say, leaning my head against his chest with my eyes closed. I could feel Kevin's heart race as soon as those words left my mouth. I smiled and looked up at him. I shyly kissed him on the lips and he kissed back.
Suddenly, I got an idea. I pulled away from the kiss and stood up. Kevin looked up at me, confused. I tapped his arm sharply and ran as fast as I could.
"Tag! You're it!" I yelled. I could hear his laughter as I ran. I looked back and I saw him running towards me at full speed. I willed myself to go faster even though I was panting like crazy. Eventually he tackled me back to the ground and we were both laughing like idiots.
It was starting to get dark and we decided to head home. After the long walk back, I jumped on Kevin's back and he unhappily carried me up the stairs. We both stripped down, only wearing our boxers. We both snuggled under the bed and I fell asleep to the sound of Kevin's deep breathing.

I woke up in an empty bed. I looked around in panic when I realized that it was Monday; Kevin would be at school.
"Great," I growled under my breath. I really wanted to wake up next to Kevin like on the weekends. Why does he have to go to school again? Oh yeah, so he can get a job or whatever.
I sigh and get up off of the bed. I decided to take a shower. I took off my boxers and stepped in the warm water.

I wrapped a fluffy brown towel around my waist and exited the steamy bathroom. I rummaged through Kevin's closet until I found a blue shirt with a blocky chicken on it and a pair of black sweatpants that barely reached my ankles. Humming a random tune, I jogged down the stairs and walked into the kitchen.
I walked over to the fridge and opened it. I looked around until I found a half-empty box of cheese pizza. I smiled happily and put four slices on a plate. I put in it the microwave for a minute and walked into the living room, turning on the tv.
It was playing the news and they were doing an article about me. I gaped as I watched the pictures up. It was me fighting this chemically engineered wolf. I grimaced just thinking about it. That thing nearly killed me.
The news article was saying how the reward for me was doubled and that the scientists were desperate to find me. I frowned and changed the channel. It was Spongebob. I smiled and turned the volume up. Suddenly the microwave beeped. It was really annoying to my sensitive ears. I quickly ran and opened the microwave's door to stop the awful noise.
I took out the steaming pizza happily and walked back into the living room. I sat down on the couch and dug in to my meal. I finished quicker than I thought I would. I shrugged and threw my paper plate in the trash can.
I turned off the TV and jogged up the stairs back to Kevin's room. I walked over to his computer and turned it on. It made a startling beeping noise as the screen turned on. I clicked the only icon on the screen and was now on his desktop.
I clicked on a beach-ball looking icon that was labled 'Google Chrome.' I was now in Kevin's favorited websites. I clicked on a random one and was brought to a website called 'Youtube.'
Hmm, this looks interesting.

GOMEEENNNNNN!!!! I'm soo sorry this took so long >.<//
please don't kill me! I didn't finish typing last night and I was barely in the house today so I barely had time.
Oh, and in other shitty news, I just found out today that we're moving. Sigh, that means no internet for awhile. We only have a month to pack and move in before school too. This is gonna be a looongg move. I will squeeze as many chapters as I can before we pack up the computer and everything.
