Steven's POV
I lifted my head up weakly to see why Kevin stopped. I nearly screamed when I saw what awaited us. The Creator and some guards were blocking the exit. I squirmed in Kevin's grasp, panicked.
"Well, well, isn't this a surprise," The Creator said sarcastically, his voice sounding like a hiss. I put my head down and looked away.
"You even brought me a present. That runt has been missing for a long while," he said, referring to Aleks. The brunette let out a small growl. I could hear The Creator let out an emotionless laugh. I peeked from behind Kevin's shoulder, glaring.
If he thinks he's getting me back in that cage, then he must be mad. No way in hell am I ever going near a cage ever again. I felt a bubble of rage rise up in my stomach. I tightened my fists around Kevin's shirt and gripped it tightly. I clenched my jaw angrily.
I've never been this mad before. All I wanted to was to go up and sock him in the face. I want him to feel the same pain I had to go through all of those years. I wanted to kill him. My vision turned hazy, a red mist rimming the edges.
I felt a sudden burst of adrenaline and hopped off of Kevin's shoulder. I couldn't even understand what The Creator was babbling on about, all I know is that as soon as I moved everyone got quiet, their gazes turning to me.
I felt a loud growl rise up in my throat. My fists were shaking and the knuckles were white. Aleks looked at me with a frightened look. He could tell what was going on with me. It was that serum they put in us.
It made us even more animal-like when we were angered. I took a step forward, my ears laid back, my tail bristling up. The guards look scared, this was evident in their movements. Their arms were shaky as they aimed their guns at me.
A toothy smile crossed my lips. I strode forward and grabbed their guns yanking them from their hands. I quickly threw them besides Kevin who let out a jump when they landed near him. As I turned back around to face the cowardly guards, a blast of pain hit me in the jaw.
I grunted at the impact of the fist, but quickly turned and let out a snarl. I jumped at the guard who punched me, wearing a smirk until he realized what I was doing. I let out a battle cry as I leapt on top of him, enjoying the fear in his eyes.
As soon as he was on the ground I wasted no time in punching across the face several times. I smiled when I heard a crack in his nose and blood spurted out. I kept punching him, letting out a small laugh at the sting in my knuckles.
It wasn't long before I heard the second guard run up and drag me off of the other. I leaned over in surprise and bit him on his wrist, tasting his irony blood. He let out a pained cry and let go of me, attending to his wrist.
I got up, wiping the blood from my mouth, panting. I looked over and saw Eddie and Aleks fighting more guards that arrived while I was..busy and I saw Kevin squaring off with The Creator.
Oh hell no! He's mine! A gruff voice growled in my head. My vision was so red now I could barely tell who was who. The only clue I had were their scents. I searched for The Creators and leapt at him from behind. I could hear the surprised grunt as he fell.
Aw, come on, I wanna hear you scream, I thought, grinning broadly. He hit the ground with a thud and immediately started struggling. I aimed to ring his throat, but he was squirming too much. Suddenly there was a sharp pain in my nose and I could feel the scarlet liquid pour out of my nose.
He fucking elbowed me in the nose! That's it, he's gotta go. Now. I gripped his throat and could feel the air flow out of his lungs. He struggled harder, punching and kicking. It hurt like hell, but I somehow managed to keep a tight grip.
