Chapter 3- Sleepover

Briar's pov
After dance Jessy, Jenn and Brooklyn came over to mine and Abbey's house for a sleepover. I know that they're going to bring up the topic of the trios that we did today. I don't want to talk about my trio but I really want to know what Abbey's trio was like because she got to do it with Devon who asked her out! Actually, I'm going to ask her now and she'll get all embarrassed.

"So Abbey, how was your trio with Devon and Brooklyn?" I ask.
"Good." She says.
"Oh come on Abbey! Devon asked you to be his girlfriend!" Brooklyn says excitedly.
"Abbey that's great!" I say.
Her face turns bright red.
"I guess." She says.
"No need to be embarrassed! We've all had a boyfriend before!" Jessy says.
"Yeah! I had a boyfriend in primary school." Jenn says.
"I had a boyfriend in high school." Brooklyn says.
"I had a boyfriend in middle school." Jessy says.

Then they all stare at me, waiting for me to say when I had a boyfriend. However, I've never actually had a boyfriend. I thought I would when Myles came back from holiday.
"I've never had a boyfriend." I say and look down.
"How? You're gorgeous!" Jenn says.
"Thanks but I'm not exactly popular with the boys." I say.
"You would have a boyfriend right now if it wasn't for Abi." Jessy says.
"I wish Myles never went on holiday." I say.
"I feel so bad for you. You have to do a trio with him and Abi." Brooklyn says.
"Our storyline is a love story and guess what? Abi made me the bad person!" I say angrily.
"I hate Abi." Jessy says.
"Who doesn't?" Jenn asks.
"Myles." I say.

"Come on, let's change the subject. Has anyone got a competition coming up soon?" Abbey asks.
"I do!" I say.
"Awesome! When?" Jessy asks.
"I can't remember. Let me just check it on my phone." I say.
As I grab my bag, I open it and see that my phone isn't in there.
"I think I left my phone at the studio. I'll get mum to drive me there. Be back soon!" I say.
"Ok bye!" Abbey says.

Once my mum drives me to the studio, I go into studio A and see my phone. I'm about to leave when I hear someone speak.

"Hey Briar." The voice says.
I turn around and see Myles standing there.
"Oh hi." I say.
"Are you ok? You seemed a bit weird today." He says.
"Yeah I'm fine." I lie.
"Are you sure?" He asks.
"Yep." I say.
"Well ok then. Why are you here?" He asks.
"I left my phone here by accident." I say.
"Oh ok." He says.
"Why are you here?" I ask.
"I just needed some extra practice. Also, sorry about earlier today. It must've been awkward for you." He says.
"Well you were making out for over ten minutes." I say and cross my arms.
"Yeah sorry about that. I just really love Abi." He says.
I turn my head away when he says he loves Abi. I wish he loved me.
"Well I'd better go." I say.
"See you tomorrow." He says.
"Bye." I say and leave.

I really don't want to perform the trio tomorrow. We have to dance in front of everyone. I still can't believe that Myles did that. We both liked each other. Then he met Abi and what we had was over. The thing is, I still like him. I like him a lot.
