Briar's pov
The next day I wake up next to a sleeping Myles and see that Abi texted me. What is she going to say this time?
A- Hey Briar, I didn't know that you would try an kill yourself. I'm really sorry. I took down the Facebook page and I'll never bother you again. I just want you to know that I'm truly sorry.
Wait, what?
B- I don't know how to respond. You hate me.
A- I hated you. See the 'ed'. When your sister said that you tried to kill yourself, I felt awful. You don't need to forgive me, I understand if you don't want to.
B- Can I just have some time to think about this?
A- Of course.
Abi's apologising to me? Me! Briar! The girl she hates. The girl she made almost kill herself. Now she's apologising? Maybe there's a little good inside of everyone after all. But I don't understand why she would apologise.
Myles' pov
I open my eyes and see Briar fiddling with her phone.
"Morning beautiful." I say and kiss her cheek.
"Morning My, guess what?" She asks and looks up at me.
"What?" I ask and raise my eyebrow.
"Look." She says and hand me her phone.
I read through the text messages that are from Abi. A confused expression appears on my face. Abi's apologising? Has the world ended? Are we in a different universe?
"Shy is she apologising?" I ask and give Briar her phone back.
"I don't know. Do you think that it's a trick?" She asks and looks at me worriedly.
"Actually I don't. I think that she is actually saying sorry." I say.
"Well if she is, I don't know if I should forgive her, I mean she almost made me take my own life." She says.
"I know and the decision is yours and she did say that you don't have to forgive her." I say and place my hand on her shoulder.
"Maybe I should ask her if she's being serious." She says and starts texting Abi.
Briar's pov
B- Are you actually apologising?
A- Yes, I promise.
"She said that she was being serious." I say and look back at Myles.
"Don't worry, you have plenty of time to decide." He says and puts his arm around me.
What am I going to do? I'm just so confused.
