Chapter 25- I Love You

Myles' pov
I was so busy untangling my white headphones that I didn't even notice my beautiful girl open her eyes.
"Myles." Her faint voice says quietly.
"Briar!" I yell and jump up out of my seat.
"You're awake!"
I hug her extremely tightly and keep kissing her forehead. She nestles her head into my chest so I sit down on her bed next to her.
"I'm so glad you're ok. I was so worried about you. Never do that again." I say and keep kissing her.
"I-I wasn't t-thinking straight. It j-just happened." She says in between tears.
"Oh Bri don't cry!" I say and pull her into an even tighter hug.

She turns her body onto its side and snuggles up to me so I put my arm around her and rub her back. Her head is rested on my chest and she still has small tears on her cheeks so I wipe them off. I gently run my fingers through her hair which makes her let out a smile. Of course seeing her smile, makes me smile so I continue to do what I was doing.

However, her smile soon disappears when I say, "Was it the comments Bri? Did it get too much?"
"It's not just the comments, that's only part of it. Just waking up and seeing all the horrible texts that I'd been sent by Abi every day. I just didn't want to wake up anymore." She says and I take hold of her hand.

"Briar I've never said this to anyone before so listen up. You're the most beautiful, kind, amazing, sweet, cute and sassy girl that I've ever met. I love you so much. I'm not just saying that because I've never liked a girl like I like you. I couldn't live without you in my life. So please, never do this to yourself again."

"I love you too Myles and I'm sorry. You were right, it was getting too much. I couldn't handle it. I should've waited for you to come, we could've sorted it out. After all, you are the best person I know who gives advice." She says which makes me smile.

"I love you more than you think." We both say at the same time and then look at each other and smile.
