Only The Beginning

After graduation we went off to his house to change and head out to dinner. We had reservations at this restaurant so our graduating class can hang out together!
We pulled into his driveway.
I grabbed his hand as we walked up to his room.
"Okay,what should I wear?" I asked holding up two dresses.
"Hmm...that one!" He said grabbing the short black one.
"Of course you would pick that one!" I said placing a quick kiss on his lips.
When we were done getting ready we headed off to the restaurant.
I placed my hand on his lap. He held it tight in his hand.
"I am so glad I am getting to marry my best friend." He whispered.
"I love you."
"I love you too.
We got to the restaurant and everyone was already there.
" hey, graduates of 2016!" James yelled. Drek got up and hugged him.
"Congrats man!" He smiled then came over and hugged me.
"Thanks dude!" James said smacking his back.
Alex walked up with her head down.
"Hey,Sarah." She whispered. I gripped James's arm.
"Listen,I am so sorry for what I did to you at prom...I shouldn't have ever done that!" She said.
"Oh that's fine,if that didn't happen me and James wouldn't have ever said our feelings for eachother.. And we might not have been engaged!" I said pulling her into a hug.
"Oh,I guess you guys already met my girlfriend!" Drek said .
I looked at James then back at Alex. She smiled and hugged Drek. "Wow,congrats guys!" James hugged them.
We sat down with the rest of the class of 2016. "Hey,congrats on the engagement guys!" Tiffany said hugging Jason's arm. I smiled and held her hand.
"Thanks boo,I am so glad that we are all happy....I am sad that I have to leave my soccer family that I grew such and AMAZING bond with and also leaving everyone else." I said a tear rolling down my cheek.
James put his hand on my thigh and rubbed his hand up and down. I smiled and leaned into his chest. He kissed my head.
"So...we have some exciting news!" Tiffany said smiling at everyone. Everyone looked at me and smiled.
"What?" James asked grabbing my hand
"We are all staying here. We all found apartments or houses here...so we can visit all we want!" She grabbed my other hand.
"That's amazing!"
"What can I get you all to eat today?" The waiter asked.
All of our food came in about 10-15 minutes. I had a salad and James had some steak.
"Okay,well talk to you all soon!" I went around hugging them all.
Me and James headed back off to the house.
When we got home I hopped in the bath.
"Babe,I am taking my bath....so,don't bug me!" I yelled.
"Okay!" He yelled back from downstairs.
I turned on the warm water and let it run.
Baths always cheered me up.
I grabbed my iPad off my bed and headed off towards the bathroom.
I set up my little over the bath table things and sat my iPad up. I turned it o to some Zoella. Some things never change for me;)
After spending about 20-30 minutes in the bath I got out and wrapped a towel around me.
I walked back to James's room and he was sat there in the bed.
"Hey, beautiful... How was your bath?"
"Good!" I said grabbing my brush and combed my hair.
I took the towel off and slipped I to some underwear and a bra.
"Come here!" James said before I could finish putting in my shirt.
I laughed and sat in his lap.
He put his strong hands around my waist. I pulled him into a big hug then kissed him.
He grabbed me and wrapped me in his arms.
"Goodnight, beautiful." He whispered.
"Goodnight, Handsome.
I curled up in his arms and fell fast asleep.
