The falcility had a wooden floor and white walls and it was spacious and strict.
„Mr. Phillip will be so suprised to see you," Monica hurried through the corridor.
„I just came to show Thomas the palce I grew up in," Dylan looked at the floor.
„Oh, of course you can," she opened a door.
A old man with galsses and longer grey hair jumped from his chair.
„Mr. Phillip you won't guess who came to vist us," Monca smiled.
The man glanced at Dylan while Thomas hid in the shadow of the door.
„Dylan, it's impossible!" the man huerried to the door. „How come?"
„Just a long story," Dylan shook his head.
„I rather need to know," the man looked at Dylan seriously. „Were Mark and Latya abusing you, harming you physically?" asked Mr. Phillip.
„Sir, please don't ask him questions," Thomas spoke loudly and the man turned to him.
„Your friend?" he aske looking at Dylan.
„Boyfriend," Dylan blushed.
"Oh" Mr. Phillip took a longer breath. "That's good. I'm happy for you," he made a poker face.
„Can I show Thomas around," aksed Dylan.
„Sure. Monica go with the boys," Mr. Phillip tried to smile.
Thomas shivered, the pictures from three days ago returned, the bodies in the basement, the helicopter crushimg into the pool. He felt sick from fear and pain, he took a breath and followed Dylan grabbing his hand thightly.
„This is the cafeteria," Monica opened a door to a room with tables an chairs, and blue walls. It was empty as it was early aftrenoon.
„I was sitting there in the corner next to the wall and I hated the carrot dish and raddish soup," Dylan smiled.
„I remeber that," Monica glanced around.
"And this lady here always had a good word for me and few candies," he blushed.
„That's nice," Thomas was speachless.
He glanced around and felt he actually shouldn't be here.
They contiuned the walk along the orphange and reached a small room where Dylan had slept years ago. It was empty because the kids that lived there were outside.
„I had this bed," Dylan pointed at a matress on the right.
„Looks cosy," Thomas tried to feel less pain.
He grew up in a huge villa and had everything he could dream of, while all Dylan had was this.
„Let's go to the library," Monica smiled.
They were silent when they walked down another corridor till they reached a spacey room filled with books. Thomas shiverd whe he saw a girl, she was sitting on the carpet and reading. Dylan walked to a bookstand and Monica followed him. They begun to talk quietly and Thomas glanced around. The girl noticed him and smiled, he smiled back feeling a little awkward.
"Are you new here?" she asked and Thomas giggled.
He looked so young she thought he's a new kid in the facility.
„No, I just came o visit," Thomas walked to her and sat on the carpet right next to her.
„Vist who?" she asked.
„The house, do you see this boy there, he lived here for a long time," Thomas pointed at Dylan. „He didecied to show me the place he grew up in."
„Oh, so you have parents?" she looked straight at him with hazel eyes.
„Yes, I have my mum. I have no idea where my father is, haven't seen him since. . . since I can remember," Thomas shivered.
„That's sad," the girl closed the book. „I'm Nily," she smiled.
„I'm Thomas," the blonde took a breath.
„How old are you, you look so young?" she asked.
"I'm eighteen," he smiled.
„Do you think your dad will come back one day. I don't think my parents will come back," she shook her head.
„No, I don't think he will come back. I also don't want to," Thomas felt pain.
„Why?" she focused her eyes on him
„He hurt me too much by leaving, I don't want him in my life and I have other people that are with me and mean the world to me," Thomas tried to be polite even if this subject made him furious.
„Isn't it good to have a family?" she asked and he shivered.
„Nily a lot of people can be our family. The best family is the one created from all the popel we love and who love us back. Look at this boy there, he has no parents, or siblings, he grew up here, like you, but for me he is family. The best family I can have," Thomas felt his love overtaking him fully.
„Why is he family for you?" Nily seemed interested.
„Because. . . He is always there for me, and he cares, and listens, and he saved my life one miion times risking his own, but I guess even if he didn't he still would be family for me, because I care for him and I love him," Thomas felt his voice cracking.
„I want to have a brother like you Thomas, you good at explaining," Nily smiled.
„You will find the right people, the family you will want to be your family," Thomas smiled back. "I need to go now, thanks for the conversation," he got up and she sprung up.
„Thank you Thomas," she grabbed him around the waist and hugged him.
He froze unable to meve, so shocked, but Nily let go, waved and hooped out of the library singing a song for herself.
„You made a new friend," Dylan raised hia eyebrow.
„We just talked about our parents," Thomas blushed. „Miss Monica, can I donate something for your house. I have more money than I will ever spend," Thomas looked at the young woman.
„Oh, sure, please talk to Mr. Phillip about it," she got very red.
„I'll go to talk to him, and you remember the old times," Thomas looked at Dylan and walked to Mr. Phillips office.
Thank you for all the support.
