„What do you want to know?" Thomas hissed.
„Who shoot to you during the premiere," the detective leaned on his chair.
„I don't know," Thomas felt his hands are tight in fists.
„Ok, let's ask anoter question, who killed Luke," Harrenburg tensed.
Thomas felt his insides turning to ice. He knew he could never tell the truth. He would be put to jail and never see Dylan again.
„Zero," he muttered looking away from the man.
Harreburg let out the air.
„You don't need to be afraid. Tell me the truth Thomas"
„I'm telling you the truth. Zero killed Luke," Thomas felt fury raising in him.
„So how did you survive the shoot," Harrenburg got up.
„I had a bulletproof vest. Zero thought something like this could happen so she told me to do it, Zero had no idea that Luke was the benfactor," Thomas decided to stay calm. „She told him about our plan so he knew I won't be dead. I was going to Zero's house with my boyfreind to hide there but she reached it first, and Luke forgot to closed his laptop and she found out thata he's painyg the money for the killers. She called me and warned me but we were close to her house and Luke waited there. he begun to shoot, but we reached his motorbike and started to run, but one of his bulltes... reached my boyfriend and... he's hurt," Thomas sobbed louder. „Please let me go and see if he's alive," he tried to get his control back but his chin was trembling so he bit his lip till he felt pin.
„Calm down Thomas, and continue," Harrenburg was walking around the room.
„I have a garage in the woods, where I build my bikes, its a pefect hideout so I was heading there. We were getting our distance to Luke on the castway, but he shot the huge truck and it crushed closing the way for us, we couldn't run further, and Dylan, he was beeding and couldn't run, and I... I would never leave him so I styed. And Luke drove to us but Zro was right behind. She damaged the tire of his car. He jumped out and came to us. He wanted to kill us both but she was right there. She shoot him to save us, althouh it was so difficut for her. He was her livepartner, that's all detective," he jumped up.
„Sit," Harrenburg raised his voice and Thomas crushed back on the chair.
„How could she shoot her lover," asked Harrenburg.
"She's asexual, she loved him but in a different way than we do," Thomas shivered
„Ah," Harrenburg came back to his chair. „That's your statmnt," he asked gancing at Tomas.
"Yes" Thomas tensed.
„How can I do my job when everyone will lie to me," Harrenburg shook his head. „You see Thomas that's what I think what had happened. There was a second assaasin who worked wth Zero, and he shot you what was part of the plan. He went to the benefactor for the money but of course Luke knew he's with you and that it's a trap. In the meantime you reached Zero's house with her where you were supposed to hide, and yes Luke left his laptop open and you and Zero found out he's the benfctor. You freaked out, stole Luke's motorbike and went to get the second assassin, ho escaped alive but shot. You both were running away to the garage and Luke cut your way off with the damaged truck the wounded assassin tried to shoot Luke but was to hurt to do it. And yes Luke would kill you both, but you had a gun from Zero she gave you, and she probably taught you how to use it. And you loved the assassin so much you would do anything to protct him. So you killed Luke," Harrendburg finnished and concentrated on Thoms face.
The boy was digging his nails in his skin to not to trembel or scream.
„So am I right," the detectove was so calm and Thomas felt he's gong to explde frm pain.
He took a breath and tried to stedy his voice.
„I stick to my statement detective. Can I go now," Thomas got up and Herrbug shook his head.
„Yes you're free to go," the man seemd to get older in a few seconds.
Thomas rushed past him to the door.
„One more thing, can you give me back the photo of Arrow," Harrenburg stopped Thomas.
„I'm sorry sir, I lost it," Thomas felt growing hate.
He slammed the door behind him and run through the station. He found his phone and called for a cab while he stormed out of the building.
The street was empty and dark and Thomas flet he's so scared. He glanced at his hands and his clotes, they were filled with bood, Dyaln's blood and he nearly fainted from fear. The cab came and Thomas decided to go home first. He told the diver to wait while he run upstairs, wahd his hands and his face and changed clothes. The house was so empty and scry and Thomas never even bothere to lock the frnt door. all this expensive things he had meant nothing right now. The boy put the long black coat on to cover himself from the cold but the freezing sensatin seemed to come from inside of him. The diver startd the cab and was making his way towreds St. James hospital when Thomas got a call form his mother. He decide to ignore it whe the phon stopped vibrating he wrote a short messae telling Mrs. Smith that he's gong to the hospital and he wil stay there. She asked if she or Kaya can come but he told them he needs to be alone. Soon the cab stoped and Thomas paid more tha he need and run out. He stopped in the entrance and felt he's so wek he coud faint.
„May I help you," a youg nurse with thick black hair came to him.
„I. . ." Thomas felt his truth is to dry to form words properly. „I'm her to see my boyfriend, Dylan O'brein, he was shoot few hours ago and transported here," Thomas felt he's close to tears again.
„Oh, the emergency from the coastway," the young woman seemed worried. „You're not his family," she went a little pale
„I'm his only family Miss," Thomas shivered.
„I'll bring you to the corridor next to the outlet of the surgery rooms. I think he's still in there. I'll let the stuff know that they should come to you with any news," she lied her hand on Thomas shoulder and he feelt he's breaking, there was no hope in her eyes. „And if you'll need somethig just let me know, I'll be at the frontdesk the whole night," she tried to smiled and walked into the buliding.
Thomas followed her ignoring strange glances from some people.
„That's the famous actor who was shoot today," he herd whisperes lieke that on his way.
Fortunately the corridor where he was supposed to wait was empty. There were only free chairs along the wall and Thomas took the last one next to the corner. He put his feet on the chair he was sitting at a seemed to crawl into himself while he was letting go the silence.
He has never felt so empty and sad. All the things that happened were playing reply in his mind and the sound of the bullet he had shot towards a man ending his life made him shiver and jump on his seat. How will he live after it, carring the gulit of the crime the rest of his life. Thomas knew his mum could't knew, no one could. There were only two people who understood it, bacause they comited the same crime, Zero and Dylan. The thought abut the last one made him gasp for air. This were the darkest moments in Thoms life, and he knew he would never foget this whit coridor and the long hurs he had spent there waiting for the information that could give him hope or end his life, because he could't belive he would be able to live witout Dylan.
The heavy door opened after such a long time but it still made Thomas feel so much fer that his heart nearly fell out o his chest. A older man with a bold spo on his head looked around. He seemed very tired and he spotted Thomas after a momnt.
„Dyaln O'brien's family," asked the man.
