Olivia's P.O.V.
"So, why did you defend me back there?" I was curious.
"What can I say? I'm a nice person." She laughed.
"Thank you." I said. And I meant it. "So don't you have friends you normally sit with?"
"Umm... Yeah. But they're kinda pissed at me because I dated my friend Gabby's ex-boyfriend Lucas. Since she was mad, they all got mad. But hey, they'll get over it soon. They're missing out." She explained.
"Well I can be your friend!" I said willingly, and then realizing how desperate I sounded.
"Haha okay. Since we are in the same science class, we can be lab partners and we can work on the write-up at your house." She said.
"Okay, can't wait." It was true. A new friend on the FIRST day! This must be an all time record! All though I kind of wished we could go to her house because my dad might embarrass me a little. He might say something like, "I can't believe you got a friend so soon!" Or he might be like, "Wow your friend is actually pretty!" I must admit, I was pretty surprised myself that I managed to get a drop-dead gorgeous friend.
Liliana's P.O.V.
"I made a new friend! Her name is... Umm... Oh, that's right. Olivia. I asked her to be my science partner. She seems cool, but hopefully she's smart because I get distracted easily."
"Liliana, lets not talk about this out here." He said. Then he glanced around and shoved me into the janitor's closet.
"I have to get to class." I pleaded.
"But you get easily distracted. Remember?" He grinned.
"But--" I couldn't resist the temptation. Soon enough, I found myself drowning in his kisses. He was such a good kisser. Those soft lips. I couldn't pull away. It felt, so good. I needed him, but I knew I was gonna miss next period. Oh well. They're not going to expel me... I hope. He was so addicting. He was a complete distraction to me. I needed the good grades. He's so bad for me, and we needed to stop. But, I couldn't.

"Dad! Dad! Guess what?!" I yelled as I entered my house from walking home.
"What's up Liv?" I heard him yell from the living room. "Something wrong?"
"No dad. Things are far from bad. I just made a new friend today! Her name is Liliana. She's super pretty and super nice! She stuck up for me when someone was making fun of my cat socks!" I excitedly explained as I sat down on the couch next to him.
"That's great Liv! I'm so happy that your happy. Do I have permission to kiss your forehead?" Dad asked.
"Haha okay. But just this once." I giggled as he kissed my forehead. "So how was work?"
"It was good. You know, the usual. Why don't you get a snack from the fridge? You're always hungry after school. And I don't need to thoroughly discuss my work with you, Liv." He smiled. "I just went grocery shopping too. I got baby carrots especially for you."
"Yum!" I said happily as I rushed to the fridge to get the carrots. Call me a freak, but I love carrots. I got the carrots out of the fridge and sat down on the couch and munched on them for an hour while watching a taped episode of "The Vineyard" on ABC Family. What a great way to kick off the sophomore year!
