Olivia's P.O.V.

Liliana hasn't been at school in 2 weeks. I really just want to run up and give her a big hug. I miss her like crazy.

I opened my locker and looked at the picture of her giving me a piggy back ride. I missed those days. I remember one time, we were biking and we found a campsite and crashed some random person's party. Oh, and another time, we went out to eat, and the waiter gave us the wrong food, but we ate it anyways.

"Ring!" The bell screamed throughout the school hallways. I shut my locker and saw someone behind it.

"Uhh, hey. I'm Tanner. I wanted to say hi because I've seen you around but I've never really said 'hi' to you or anything." Tanner said awkwardly. He was taller than me with a darker shade of blonde hair. Or in other words, he was a dirty blonde. He had ocean blue eyes, and dimples. Oh, how I love dimples.

"Hi Tanner." I giggled. It was sweet of him to say something.

"So, umm, my dad owns this restaurant. It's called the 'Marigold Diner.' I was wondering if you wanted to go sometime? I mean, you don't have to..." Tanner asked nervously.

"Haha, sure!" I smiled. "How about tonight?" I need to get my mind off of Liliana. So why not go on a date tonight?

"Uhh..." He muttered shocked that I didn't mind going tonight already. "Sounds great! I'll pick you up around 7:00?"

"Fine by me." I said as I wrote down my address and handed it to him. "Can't wait."

"See you then. I better get going to class." He said and walked away. To be honest, I was pretty excited to go on a date with a cute boy like Tanner. He wasn't the most muscly or hottest guy you could see, but he was really cute. And sometimes I prefer that kind of guy.

Annalise's P.O.V.

"I'm so happy for you, Liv!" I exclaimed.

"Thanks, Annalise! I'm excited!" Olivia said.

"It's just a date. You don't have to keep going on and on about him." Evan said obviously annoyed.

"Evan, it's her first date. She has a right to be excited!" I told him.

"It's true!" Olivia smiled.

"Well I heard that guy's a douche." Evan warned Olivia.

"Yeah, yeah. Some rumors are fake you know." Olivia told him.

"She's right. Once there was a rumor about me. Apparently people thought I was trying to blend in with the popular kids by trying out for basketball." I said.

"Some rumors are real. I can't believe you said yes to that guy you don't even know. What the hell were you thinking?" Evan said, shocking Liv and I.

"Excuse me, but I have to go drop off my President Timeline for history. Bye guys." She said and left before we could respond. I turned to Evan.

"What is your problem?!"

"I don't have one."

"Well, lets see, you might have just changed her mind about going on a date, her FIRST date, with Tanner, who happens to be a super sweet guy. Wait a second, are you... jealous? Do you like her?" I wondered.

He opened his mouth but then paused. "No."
