Chapter 3-Fluffy Chenyeol

The once-roaring bonfire had reduced to smoldering coals as the sun set, and its heat kept us warm along with the thick fleece blanket that I was sharing  with your boyfriend, Chanyeol. Graham cracker boxes, chocolate wrappers, and marshmallow packages were scattered around in the sand around the spare pieces of driftwood that your group of friends were sitting on, and I snagged an extra bag of marshmallows for myself and Chanyeol.

The tide had receded since I arrived, and the distant sound of the waves crashing mingled with the crackle of the fire, the soft murmur of tired voices, and the gentle strum of a guitar that someone had brought along with them as they strummed the chords to a Baby Don't Cry song.

I was seated on Chanyeol's lap sideways so that my thighs across his perpendicularly. While one of his arms was wrapped around my waist loosely, bunching my shirt up at your waist to trace patterns into the skin of your hip lightly, you held his free hand in one of mine, intertwining our fingers and resting them on my jean-clad thigh.

"Hey," He said softly, nuzzling his nose into the side of your neck. "Marshmallow me, babe."

You smiled and reached into the bag in your lap, pushing a marshmallow past his parted. He hummed a thank you and ducked down to leave a trail of chaste kisses along your neck the way his lips curled smiling looking at my eyes.

I pushed the marshmallow passed my lips staring at his eyes and closed the bag, placing it in the sand off to the side of our bodies then staring at my best friends D.O and Kai talking to my sister Nyah flattering her to much ( HAHAHAHA I HAD TO I'M SORRY BBY GIRL THIS IMAGINE IS ABOUT YOU NOT ME) . Chanyeol gave my hand a squeeze to get my attention, and when I turned to look back at him, he caught my lips in a kiss.

When my mouth opened against his, I found that he tasted like sugar, thanks to the sweets that we had been sharing. He tightened his arms around my waist to pull my body closer to his underneath the blanket. I slowly cupped his face in my hands to deepen the kiss, your tongue sliding against his hotly.

I pulled away with a giggle when Tao , Luhan , and Kris ( LETS PRETEND THEY DIDNT LEAVE OKAY!! IT'S STILL 2013 !! S: >-< SOMEONE HOLD ME)  in the group whistled at the two of us, and he chuckled, smoothing away my hair and pressing a kiss to my forehead whispering "Don't worry about them they're just being dorks right now" his voice deepened a bit smiling.

I smiled still staring at him for a moment, my hands still on his cheek, taking in how the glow from the embers cast his face in a soft orange light. He hasn't slept for a few days, and his hair was soft against your palm. He caught my gaze and the corners of his mouth turned up in a smile as his eyes sparkled happily. "What?" He asked quietly moving me closer into his chest titling his head a bit.

"You're beautiful." You murmured, running your thumb over his cheekbone laying my free hand on his chest tracing his collarbones my eye's not leaving his at all.

He leaned into my touch, then took my wrist to bring your hand to his lips. "Not nearly as beautiful as you are, darling." He replied, leaving small little butterfly kisses on my  palm. I quietly sighed contentedly, relaxing against his body and resting my head on his shoulder while he ran his fingers through your hair.

I slowly closed my eyes, getting lost in the scent of firewood and ocean, listening to the excited voices of your friends as they pointed out constellations in the clear sky to one another, and feeling Chanyeol's heart beat against your shoulder. There was no place in the world that you would rather be than inside his arms.
