It's Not What it Seems

Emma's POV

After the show Logan, Douglas, and I hung out back stage.

"Tough night, eh?" Douglas smiled and pointed at Logan's lip cut.

Logan blushed,"Oh. No. No. No. I... ran into a door last night"

"Oh, hahaha sorry. Mate." Douglas said and walked towards the food.

Logan sat on the sofa with his hands on his knees. I followed him. "Hey, Logan do you have plans for today?" I said as I sat down. Logan turned his head and raised his eyebrows.

"Oh. Uh, well Ana wants to stay in the hotel, maybe watch some movies. Why?"

"Just curious. Actually, um... George is planning to have a dinner and asked me to invite you guys. It was a last minute thing actually. If you feel hungry after..."

Logan chuckled.

"... I'm sorry. None of my business." I let out a nervous laugh. "... Let me rephrase it. If you don't feel like eating something from room service come by."

"Sure, thanks Em." Logan smiled and swiped his hand across his forehead and grabbed his phone from his pocket,"Excuse me" then left.

Ana's POV

I was outside of our suite. I rested my head on the door until I finally opened the door. I headed to the bathroom I took my clothes off and sat in the tub, I let the water run.

I know Finn and I didn't had sex but I felt dirty. I wanted to wash away his lip prints. The water was two or three inches over my body. I relaxed myself and the water was now halfway up my ears. I submerged a bit of my head and I could hear the calmness of the water. I then slowly submerged the rest of my head. I held my breath and closed my eyes.

Logan's POV

Ana didn't answered any of my phone calls so I hurried to the hotel. I opened the door and heard water running; I saw a trail of clothes headed to the bathroom. I followed the trail only to my surprise to find her under the water. I jumped into the tub and held her up and she instantly opened her eyes.

"What the hell were you thinking?"

"Logan, I'm sorry"

"Wh-what are you talking about?"

"I went to see him"

"I don't care, why were you drowning yourself?"

"What? No. No. I wasn't. I was clearing my mind"

She was sobbing really hard so I held her tight. I was really confused so I just shut the fuck up and waited for her to tell me when she was ready.

Ana's POV

15 minutes later I pushed Logan away. He sat in the other side of the tub with his legs on either side. I had my knees up my chest and he stared at me.

"Is this about your ex? If it is... I don't care"

I shook my head. "It's not just about that."

"Then tell me. I'll understand."

I feel like shit now. I'm lucky to have him. He's so much different than Finn. He listens before making a scene. He deserves the right to know the truth.

"I thought I was seeing Jack, okay? It's.. He was there he used him and we-"

"Wait wait. Slow down" he said calmly.

"Jack sent me a message telling me to meet him. Only to my surprise to find out that Jack didn't sent me the message, it was Finn-"

"And who's Finn?"

"Finn, is my ex boyfriend. He's Jack's identical twin brother."

Logan's face was blank. I couldn't tell if he was mad or concerned. "Go on..."

"I walked out of that relationship. I just left a note and took the next flight to San Diego."

"So he tricked you on going to someplace to meet him, it's not your fault."

I shook my head as of way of letting him know that wasn't just it.

"He wanted an explanation and I stayed over for tea..."

I looked up and he was looking at me without saying a word.

"... I really hurt him, Logan. He... W-we kissed. I kissed him back for a while... I-I just..."
Logan grasped the sides of the tub and pushed himself up and left.

"...I'm sorry"

And I thought I couldn't feel more like shit this day.

Logan's POV

My clothes was soaking wet. I felt a heaviness of them pulling me down. My eyelids where heavy, the whole sound muffled, my hands were shaky. I loosened my tie, and headed to the terrace. I grabbed Ana's pack of cigarettes and lighter on my way. I took a seat, lit the cig, and took a hit.
